In this video The ReThink Group joins Richard to dive into the misconceptions in trading psychology and how to actually improve your trading results by tweaking how you interpret your emotions. There is a large misconception in the trading world that to be a profitable trader you must tune out your emotions. This is a logical fallacy as it is impossible to make a decision without having emotions.

I do feel like trading is completely emotional, it comes from experience so you emotionally learn what to know is painful… usually around risk management and losing money, and then taking profits, your emotions line up w pain and pleasure with what works for you over time, in a sense, for me I used to get excited about what I now think are horrible trades(pain) so now I do think it’s why post analysis is so vital, it helps you understand your trading and puts your emotions in a better position to gain more profits and lose less… those “ahah” moments are very emotion centered.
This is incredible information. I keep rewinding to absorb as much as I can.
Super interesting interview. Thank you!!
Our pleasure!
Thank you guys!!!
No problem!
I believe trading is at least 80% psychological. Trading my own money for a living with no other income was the best trigger for my psychology. Within 6 months I was in a trading psychology program while still trading my own money. That was 6 years ago. Today I'm in a much better place. ;-)
I get a good point from this vedio .Emotion is a natural reaction or response to our surrounding. We can not deny it ,and actually it is a source of power.
Awesome! Thank you!
Excellent interview, thanks to all involved. 👊👍
Thanks for watching
