It's every CEO who is making huge amounts of money from people who have faithfully paid their insurance premiums for years, ( health, auto, homeowners, renters) only to find that when they go to make a claim, they are either denied or dropped. Just look how shameful insurance companies have treated homeowners who have lost their homes from environmental disasters.
It's all CEO's. They are sociopathic. Another can of worms to open - how many people have been screwed by the CEO's of the company's they work for? How many ways on how many days? We have a serious leadership problem.
It's NOT dark corners... It's MAINSTREAM. And to be totally honest, I don't understand why, when the healthcare industry sentences someone to death to make a CEO's yacht payment, that more innocent VICTIMS haven't done this sooner!

Sorry, you can't tell the people who can be a HERO!
Millions of Americans live in "dark corners" with medical conditions that are treatable but unaffordable because corporate profits are more important than human life. Josh Shapiro has no experience with living in a dark corner.
They wasted 1/2 the NYPD budget on 1 crime.
Equal before the law.
Yeah, right.
Mr. Witty is the kind of guy I'd expect to *unironically* say:
_"We have investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing."_
And then:
_"Just kidding! We didn't investigate, why should we?"_
Dark corners? 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I’m in high dollar suburbia and say, free Luigi!!! (Along with all my neighbors in our dark dark corner 😂🤣😂🤣)
You made the point exactly..."Insurance companies should NOT be able to override a doctors determination" since the doctor studied medicine and insurance companies studied paperwork. AND they pay millions to people that let insured people die. No sympathy.
Excellent point
Critical noise? United Healthcare should be disbanded.
I laughed when he said that. He was literally saying “don’t fall for the trap of thinking for yourselves. Your reality is what I say it is”.
Doctors go to school for many years to learn what is safe and necessary for patient care and treatment; insurance executives don’t. We need single payer universal healthcare, not private health insurers.
Universal Healthcare NOW!
@@sassysaint3096 I have been trying to get that exact same point across to everyone I know. Healthcare should be a right not a luxury like republicans trying so hard to get rid of government insurance. It’s stupid that we are the richest in the world and yet people in Europe and a lot of other countries have it and if you happen to get sick while you’re there you hardly have to pay anything.
@@susanbyorick3740 I agree. But we have to get it right. Ask a Canadian. Most will tell that the time between diagnosis & treatment can be deadly long. Also UnitedHeathcare is part of Medicare.
@@susanbyorick3740
A friend caught Covid in Europe, was given numerous tests, X-rayed her lungs, sent her home with meds. €80.
@@susanbyorick3740 But we have to get it right. Talk to Canadians. The ones I know say the delay between diagnosis & treatment can be deadly and that is universal. They go to the USA for care in such cases as U.S. facilities know that Canada will eventually pay up. Google wait times in Ottawa and other Canadian cities. But I agree. U.S. Healthcare needs a shakeup and...gasp...SOME regulation.
@@sassysaint3096 but then what incentive would people have to join the military. that's the biggest reason we don't have universal health care. it's ALL a scam
If insurance companies override doctors, then they MUST assume all liability for the outcome!
A healthcare system where business majors are in charge is not a healthcare system.
No, that kind of company is not needed. Most countries don't do it that way. And they have often better health care than the US.
The problem obviously is, there are two classes for far to long. Rich and Poor.
thats been since the beginning of humanity...
The Murderer is called an Assassin
The Mass Murderer is called a CEO
I thought that was called a government 🤔
@@danialhillmann5374 Both, but with the CEO it's more obvious that he's k*lling people for money.
People need to boycott United Healthcare!! 😡
Or we could focus on pushing for universal healthcare like all other first world nations.
I wish we could. It's not as easy as not going to a particular store. There aren't a ton of choices. Hence, why the affordable care act is so important
Boycott the elite.
Andrew Whitty, the Brit, grew up with free universal heathcare in the UK
In a civil society there would be no for profit health care.
Good luck getting a jury. Who in America hasn’t been screwed over by their insurance company?
