@matt6343 or they just don't know or care how to tie a belt. Belt promotions are a big deal to ppl. we all know now a days they are photo and video ops the least u can do is make sure it looks decent.
Most schools don't do green belts for adults but an adult green usually means you're clearly too good to be a white but not quite good enough to be a blue. Most adult green belts only stay green for a couple months as long as they come in consistently.
Beautiful video and emotional, great words from the new Black belt!!... just something to point is that no even high belts bows to the professors... the only one who did that was the guest professor. I think that should be taught from White Belt, to bow before shaking hands / hugs..etc.. you can notice there were "uncomfortable" moments with the guest professor (Robson Moura) because no students bowed after him...I don't wanna ruin the video with this post, im not even close to a hater, just something I got surprised after watching it. Congrats again to all the guys!!..
Adult green belts are an insult to our art imo. Unlike tkd etc our belts actually mean something and practices like this water down the other belts and actually take away from them whenever they actually mean something.
Its nice to see the morale and unity in the Martial Arts congratulations on the promotions at the school.

Ive never seen anyone tie a belt on someone else as good as that guy. Usually they look all lopsided and crazy

He’s either the youngest or second youngest to ever earn the black belt. I think he was already winning black belt division tournaments at age 18-19
