I've had all sorts of bikes, 50cc to 1157cc and my Rally 250 is one of the best. I've owned it from new; she's 5 years old and has 123,000km - still good as new. Still on its original piston. This will make you smile I think.
@@jansmatildasadventures5227 Happy to hear that. Keep the oil and filter changes frequent (3-4,000km) the hotter the climate, the closer to 3,000km imo. New plug about every 35k and valve shims about 50k - I get 30+k out of a chain and sprocket set, as I lube them (with regular oil) frequently... every 500 or so KM. Not sure how costly oil changes are where you live, but here in Thailand, they are cheap as chips LOL - also, always check / replace the oil bolt seal / washer frequently, as they can leak if overused. Finally, cam chain tensioners can become loose at any time... You'll hear it knocking on cold start up. They seem to be the only real Achilles heal - the CRF's prostate if you will LOL - Enjoy your steed.
Hi, not a bad bike for your type of riding, and about that saddle being uncomfy..., the way you ride, and where you ride, you don't need the saddle much as you'll be standing up more than sitting !!
Glad to see you made a bike choice that will better suit your needs for the type of “Adventures” you have. It’s a lovely looking bike and think you will have a lot of fun upgrading it 👍....Thanks for sharing ...🥃🏴
I wish we had traks like this in Switzerland where we can ride..., which County are you in here? I think that might be the Shropshire Hills. Am I right?

Nice vid-bike-vistas..what part of UK did you film that...? 🤓

why anyone would want to see you closing and opening a gate 100 times?
Because they are very nice gates.
