You can do it with something called Grasshopper, but I think this is a lot easier!

thank you so much for sharing.. but i have some trouble, when i select the image, then appear a notification said that "Couldn't do it! Error : uninitialized constant Sketchup::ImageRep". Can you tell me what' wrong and what should i do?

it's not compatible with SketchUp 2017 and the previous version please use in SU 2020 for better experience.
