No lie, I don't even own a horse yet and I'm already unable to fall asleep out of sheer panic over what it might be like once I do. Horses hurt themselves SO easily! The similarities between this video and some of the conversations I've had with myself is unreal lol

@@loveLeeAnne99 oh trust me, I'm a worrier at heart with or without Marina's videos 😂 Hubby and I have every intention of buying a horse in a year or two once our house is built, so I'm doing as much research as humanly possible to be as prepared as I can be. Still, its incredibly easy to stress over whether or not we're equipped to take on such a responsibility when literally every horse owner I've ever met acts like owning a horse is equal to raising a child.

Can’t wait to watch! I always have the fear of “Oh no. What if it rains?!? I didn’t put the rain sheets on!” Now i have to check the weather at 1 am, see it’s going to rain, go outside, put the sheets on, and then since i’m up go for a late night ride. Yes, i’ve done this…

@@vultureiraq1168 sadly she was, she passed august 4th last year from colic. She was a very smart and impressive mare! Ended up being amazing at helping me open and close gates under saddle. I’d unhook the gate, she’d push it open, push it closed, I’d hook it up again. Great partner she was!
'The earing with hurt her' one of my ponies stepped on a screw once I was terrified but we got it out and she was literally fine!
Honestly so true, but it gets confusing for me figuring out why I’m staying awake since I’ve got a bunch of random stuff keeping me up lol.

This is so so so true!! The other night I turned out Dreamer (one of the horses) I walked half way to the barn, and thought I didn't close the gate so I walked all the way back, and guess what, it was closed! LOL🤣

OK THIS IS SOOOO TRUE!!! last night i had to go put on my horses cribbing collar and i’m walking back to the house and he is jumping out of the stall!! i caught him but he has scratches all over his legs🤦🏼♀️this happened at like 1 in the morning!🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

Once when I came back from the barn, I thought that I forgot to close my horses Stall, but then I remembered that the stable hands make sure that! I’m so grateful for them!😊❤
This was me for the first month straight of owning my first horse. SO stressed 24/7. It’s been 3 months now and thankfully that is starting to subside. 🤣
( using husband's YT acct ) The worry never subsides - it just increases over the years as you learn more & experience more & realize what horse ownership / training / boarding , etc. is truly all about : one big ongoing angst - fest ! lol Decades in the business & oh , the stories I could tell ! Couple that w/ mild OCD , perfectionism , type A personality & a passion for riding perfect eq. & horsemanship patterns ... well ... don't think I ever slept a full night in 30+ years & probably didn't even blink much either ! ( but loved every minute !!! )

I recognize so much.. My horse had an injury and stalrest with medication, i went there at least twice and sometimes 3x per day. Half an hour drive to and from and i worked two jobs.
After a few weeks i complained that i was so tired. My parents and bosses were all like.. Well duh

The 'did i turn the water off' really got me... I accidently left it on the other day but didn't realize and i woke up in the morning to feed the horses and found a LOT of water around our little shelter...
