Are you talking about technique or repertoire? Ghiaurov certainly sang operas by Bellini, Rossini and Donizetti.

Bellini is typically not considered to be a part of the bel canto period which ends around Donizetti time (although there was composers such as Pacini and Mercadante who continued composing in this style after). Ghiaurov only ever touched one pure bel canto opera and even that one is late bel canto.
