I just finished building my own rack for my rtt and awning which is adjustable. I can drive with my tent below cab height and then quickly raise it up over head height so my tent and awning are comfortable to stand under. Works awesome. I can roll up my tonneau under it, the whole setup with tent and awning is less than 300lbs and it cost me like 400 bucks to build. Even built a pressurized water tank that I mounted on it too.
Great video, it’s great to see more companies bringing versatility to the bed rack scene. I really appreciate the engineering that goes into the Kuat system and it makes me feel like I’m getting something for the money. The trukd system is also nice to have so many options available for a build that suits your unique setup. I’d love to see Kuat build a truck bed drawer system and put those companies on their heels.

Flated should make a few support bars that attach the bed rails so you can sleep on the roof of the bed rack. That would be super cool for camping imo. While not weather proof sleeping under the stars with good weather and off the ground sound like a win!!
That flated is sick! I pull a 5th wheel and need a topper for the times I am not. My bed is 6foot 9, doesn't look like they make one of them. Hopefully soon!
Kuat is exactly what I was looking for. Super modular and now they've developed a panel kit to enclose it like a traditional topper. #win
