You can't help but feel your energy coming back to you suddenly. "Diluc, fancy seeing you here..." You tease, as he's never been the type to go to parties, let alone join... He smiles, "Well, I can't miss this golden opportunity." you wonder what he means by that. Does he take interest in dancing? Or is it you, the reason he joined? "So, how are you enjoying being the hero of Mondstadt?" He speaks warmly as he places his hands on your waist, while you move yours to his shoulders. He wore his normal bartender uniform, he didn't have time to change it seems... Either way, he managed to look absolutely breathtaking. "It's fun being well-known. Is this why people become famous?" You laugh at your own comment, twirling in the crowd with him as people stare, waiting for their turn to join arms with one of you. "I wouldn't know, I like to keep myself hidden." You know very well how much he can hesitate with crowds, especially when it comes to making a scene... No matter how many people there'd be, he always managed to keep a low profile. A part of you thought it was a stupid question to ask, but you wanted to know. "Kaeya and Jean used to force me into their silly games as kids. You weren't all that good at dancing yourself even if you've travelled worlds for hundreds of years, but you were decent enough to keep up with him. As the dancing wore on, so did the chatter. "I can't help but ask... I thought you weren't interested in idle chit-chat? You seem rather talkative tonight." You raised an eyebrow in a teasing manner, spinning as he caught you in his arms. He stared down at you before smiling, he suddenly looked bolder than usual. "I consider this more than just idle chit-chat." He raised you up, putting your hand in his, and you take back everything. He was _perfect_ at dancing. While you nearly tripped on your own feet, he placed his perfectly between yours. "How sweet." You laugh, a slight blush on your face. "I'm feeling careless tonight, it feels like I could do anything without consequence. Don't you agree?" He was most definitely right, it felt wonderful. Everyone was happy as they cheered for the safety of their nation, and you felt amazing as the fact that you're the reason this region was saved settles in your mind. "It does. It's like a breath of fresh air... Or it's the drinks." You shrug as Diluc laughs at the mention of alcohol, "I wish I could say the same." A moment of silence passes until Diluc kissed the back of your hand, and your face glows red as a cocky smile rested on his face. "You look gorgeous, by the way. I'm sad I'm not the first to tell you that." When was he able to flirt...? This was a surprise; you never expected your heart to skip a beat. The words get stuck in your throat until you clear it, feeling embarrassed from the suddenl compliment. "N-No, you're the first." You mentally scolded yourself, why did you have to stutter...?! Diluc sighed of relief, though he looked rather surprised. "Really? That's shocking... You're the most attractive person in the room, are you sure there's people who haven't complimented you?" He was teasing you. You looked around, there were definitely some people staring at you... But you believed it to be looks toward Diluc. You gather your wits, thinking up a response before holding his hand properly, intertwining his fingers with yours. "Are you kidding me? If I'm the most attractive, why is that I find my eyes only on you, Master Diluc?" He scoffed in a joking manner at the nickname, "You've been hanging out with Kaeya too much, you're getting awfully bold." He whispered, bringing your chest to touch his as his hands surfed across your body, leading up to your free hand and intertwining his own with yours, his breath hot on your neck as you felt the blood rush to your face. "I'm glad to have caught the eye of a treasure such as yourself." You gulp, putting on a relaxed face, though he could obviously tell his words were making you shy. "It's getting rather stuffy..." You mumble, holding his shoulder tightly with blush on your cheeks. "Don't you think we should go and get some air?" You smile, knowing exactly what you're doing, but you honestly don't even know who you are right now with what you're saying! Diluc seems shocked at what you're getting at before he laughed.
