I did like the more tone-back approach tbh. It is a nice switch from most debuts and I liked that you get to hear their voices more clearly as well. I did like the song a lot
For such a high octane teaser concept with the motorbikes and racecars, the song is surprisingly subdued imo. But I know for one thing, Yunjin eats camera time and Kazuha's deep voice is a madness and a problem for my heart
I loved this song it’s like the perfect bridge between kpop and pop and I see them taking over the world. This is just a teaser because we have a classically trained vocalist classically trained dancer two former huge global idols and unlike other recent GG debuts they didn’t try and shove everything in your face in one song… it’s catchy and has been on repeat all mf daaaay. I can’t wait for them to get the recognition they deserve!!!
In the Debut Showcase of Le sserafim, They changed a part of the choreography which is the part ( u know what I mean) and I'm glad about that because they have a minor members
I definitely agree that this was more laid back. Regardless, this song is catchy enough for me to repeat it on my playlist. It may not be the best debut yet, but the path is clear for this group. Also, the songs in the album are bangers. I think that the company will serve us more soon.
I love this song I love how it’s simple and their not trying to mix all these genres like nmixx o.o which was terrible. When I hear this song I feel like I want to strut down the runway lol
The group going to do well since they got Two former izone members - japanese: sakura and korean - chaewon Several thousands album pre-sales already made before they even debut or released this mv. And sakura used to be a japanese idol and is famous in japan. They already got two music market on the early going.
I like it. It’s very classy and the rap part actually fit well with everything else. I get tired of a the same sound or mold. With a lot of girl groups, you may get some beautiful vocals, but then you’ve got this rapping that comes in and rather than adding to the cohesiveness, they switch it up too much and it’s like completely different song that doesn’t mesh well. Their sound is very tasteful and classy so I’m a huge fan.
I think the lack of "brassiness" might actually work to their advantage. This gen of girl groups is getting oversaturated with the big bombastic tracks imo, I think this track will be more like the slow burn.
Tbh this song is so good for like a background song. For example when I play games or draw with this song in the background, it feels relaxing, sassy but also, well fearless. At first I was kinda disappointed but now I appreciate that it's different from what I'm normally used to. One thing I whoud say tho is that I feel like they could have done a bit more with it. But either way i did find myself enjoying it.
I agree; this is a chill track. I do think it is interesting enough to listen to quite a bit though (love me some bass). The one girl whose voice you mentioned also stood out to me. The rapper's voice was deeper and I liked it.
I think it's a good thing that the track isn't explosive, so many groups come out expecting to win everybody over with one catchy, fiery song but honestly after a few songs of the same stuff they tend to fall flat. I think it's good that they're starting mellow, it's a good way to build momentum that will stick. I also just like how clean this MV is in it's entirely, the song included, it may not be mind-blowing but I feel like it's a nice chill introduction to who they are as a group.
One of my least favorite features of most gg title tracks are the random bridges from another world that they shove into the middle of a completely different sounding song so I was SO THRILLED to see continuity. I wasn't jarred into another realm by a weird distorted ballad thing in the middle of a poppy edm song. I was just one song all the way through. Lo-fi dance-y with a catchy hook. It's refreshing. Which is exactly what I expect from Hybe.

I'm assuming, but also Main Dancer. Center can be Sakura or Chaewon.
respectfully, there’s no way sakura is a lead vocalist. based on the line dists and quality of the lines they’re getting, yunjin is main vocal, chaewon is main or lead vocal, and sakura is the sub vocal who gets the ‘hook/earworm’ lines (rather than just filler parts) if there’s a second lead vocal, my guess is that it’s garam or kazuha, but i don’t think their structure needs a second lead imo, their vocal line is already soooo well rounded
I agree with you that I was expecting more. Their vocals were great. But the track was just okay. I was expecting more from HYBE because their other artists release such amazing music. Like it’s very creative and unique. And this was just an ordinary pop song. It was good and catchy but I was expecting more. Especially since the girl group debits lately have been very unique and outside the box.
I think this debut is actually unique and with its chill and elegant "high-fashion" style, ended up standing out in a good way from the huge fancy fast-tempo music videos/songs that have been very common-place in kpop over the past years. And apart from BTS's NMD, HYBE doesn't tend to give its groups the typical over-the-top mvs for their debuts (Crown and Given-Taken were both simpler/different from what many people expected). However, I do agree that they could have switched up the last bridge/chorus a bit to prevent the song from getting too repetitive.
I like the song, and it is slightly catchy, but tbh I feel like for a debut it needed just a bit more. The last chorus definitely needed either some sort of high note adlib in the back, something to add a lasting impression. Their dancing is great, and vocals, I just expected a bit more from Hybe. Does anyone else feel that way? A lot of people thought there could have been a storyline concept to this group but it doesn't appear so, at least not yet, so they are just a fashion/visual group? I see them creating their own clothing line just from the group name. I'm just a bit disappointed, there's nothing really super rememberable about this MV, besides the opening floor sequence.
@@mcbob10 I knew about the webtoon, that's why I thought there would have been something. I avoided the teasers and stuff for this group because I wanted to be surprised. Maybe they'll slowly incorporate it?
I feel like they could've gotten a better song. The song, just like you said, lacked a little brassiness. And it's not like I would listen to it a lot, since it's slightly too repetitive. All the power to those who like it though, we all have different tastes.
Very unassuming, one note debut. No real musical progression or chances for the members to distinguish themselves in this title, and the double vocal layering as well as the autotune mangles the raw talent in the vocals imo The Great Mermaid and Sour Grapes are both great b sides though
I like the song but it lacks a wow factor I expected more but it is boring I'm not hating theres no vocals no change just the same it sounds like a perfume advertisement and it's repipetive
A song doesn’t have to be in your face loud to be good. Their strong, sassy choreo and visuals portray them as fierce , and a force to be reckoned with! Welcome change from the “ cutesy, childish” choreo of a lot of previous girl groups. Glad they omitted the floor part due to ages of the two girls but it still was an amazing debut!
@@robinjohnson8436 I agree with most of what you said. Over-the-top bombastic mvs and songs are great, but are also nothing new to write home about in k-pop as they're practically overused at this point. The smooth laid-back "perfume ad" high-fashion sound is clearly a deliberate choice on the company's part and makes the group stand out in a good way. However, there's absolutely nothing wrong with "cutesy childish" choreo of various other groups when done properly, e.g. pre-Ven Para Weeekly had awesome entertaining unique choreography.
@@p.a.681 I guess I just think the overly cutesy routines for grown women sometimes make me cringe , but I appreciate that it is loved by many . It’s just not my preference . That's good to hear.
It’s called the cry baby it’s a dance people have been doing in the south since the 90’s. It’s not a bad dance but they are more conservative in Korea
actually the dance wasnt changed as u can see in the MV they show a quick clip of the choreo

This song reminds me of Tippy Toes a lot. The more simple instrumental production and the floor choreo too. The subdued vibe and catchy hooks

An hour ago, a dance video of Lisserafim was uploaded on the channel "STUDIO CHOOM". I think this video is delivered better. The MV is lacking a lot.
