What a nice visit to the transport museum. Been there once before and went on the trolley bus and the driver was driving round like a mad man 😂😂
To answer Tim's question, the poles on the trolley bus have springs in so they extend and compress. So the buses can stray from the wires slightly but if they go too far they disconnect and the bus just stops. ❤

Those Anderson bunkers were to stop the flack from the explosions. Most were dug deep in the ground with lots of camouflage covering over the top.
I loved this video it brought back memories of my mam telling me all about it she was in the land army

On 7th of October 1967,I was born to a mum who would get on to have eight of us. One was adopted out because my mum was too young to keep the child. I didn't think I would reach the age of 56 years but now I like myself alot more than did. Life is full of ups and downs now I feel life is really good. Thanks for your vlogs they are really great and I love your gigging it really puts me on a smooth trajectory, you sing excellently. Tim travel vlogs are great too, keep it up you both are doing sterling work for both your channels!! xxx

She was until the dementia took her,I looked after her for five years putting life on hold we became closer.Four and a half were good times until her dementia told her she had eaten when in fact she hadnt.Doctors gave us Complan to give to her.
Like Tim I've always loved buses any still do. I currently have over 600 models. Whenever I'm down in London I always pop into the Transport Museum, likewise when in Manchester and when I go down to Nuneaton to visit the boyfriend I pop through to Coventry to the transport museum there. When I goto Blackpool I always make sure to do the Tramtown Tour. I always end up buying more models. I've always said one day I would love to own an actual real life bus.

I guess it is called East anglia transport museum because that is where it is located. We went a few years ago and liked it. Only odd thing we noticed is it is only open few days a week even in school holidays
H I didn’t notice that.. I wonder if it’s because it’s run by volunteers
Lovely vlog Gabby - i have been to the Transport Museum a few years whilst holidaying in Yarmouth ........ defo is Norfolks mini version of Beamish. I love anything that shows the "oldie worldie" side of years gone by.
Little Thumps looked like he loved it ....... the Post Office was cute but yet comical as well ............

I can indeed Gaby - I remember and know places in Yarmouth better than i do some at home, i've spent many a happy time in Yarmouth and i hope to get back soon
Great Vlog Gabby. I agree with u about the Transport museum being a mini Beamish. I think it would be better if they extended the park and tracks, as it’s a bit limiting and gets a tad boring when all the trolley buses and trams go the same route. I don’t know if they still do or not, but they used to do a couple of old Eastern Counties buses from the car park into Lowestoft .
U could either get off and have a wonder and get back on it later, or stay on it back to the park. Can’t remember if u paid a bit extra with entrance fee or not.
I also agree with Tim about not being any local buses, it would be nice to see either the Great Yarmouth blue buses or original Eastern Counties. Don’t know if there’s any original Norwich trams floating about anywhere.
I don’t know if it’s a Norfolk thing hardly any fish and chip places open on a Sunday, but odd round seaside towns though.
U commented that u felt that u looked a state, I think u both looked fine. Besides it was a Sunday and u are allowed to not look your best wen u are at home in your safe/ happy place.
The Norfolk twang always sounds so much broader wen recorded dosent it. I find the same whenever I record a messege, think gee do I really sound that broad Norfolk.

Another Great Vlog Gaby. Transport Museum looks interesting ( it’s an age thing for me “ the good old days “ ) although you say it’s not very big which is a shame. Casper is very cute and a little star. I just love your sense of humour, you always have me laughing through your vlogs.

My Aunt had an Anderson shelter in her back garden built under a sort of garden/wall, crazy to think the people who lived during the War you spent many nights in there ( Days ) too 😳

These are my favourite sort of vids Gaby. Had such a stressful day in London today. My husband had to have an eye op at Moorfields. London is just MAD. Sooooo many people rushing around in all directions. How did I ever work up there every day?! So it was great to just sit & chill to watch the vlog...nothing rehearsed, just you, Tim and Thumps enjoying ordinary weekend life together as all families should do👨👩👦 They're the best sort of uploads😊 Went to the Transport place many moons ago so was nice to see it's still there. Great video Gaby & Tim. I last went there in 1989 as a young lad when I lived in Lowestoft. It hasn't changed that much from what I remember. Its such a great place to visit, especially for kids. thumps looked like he enjoyed it. I will have to return to there one day. Keep up the great videos.

A very enjoyable and relaxing visit to the Transport Museum, was surprised how much tram track there was for your ride. Nice to see all the old stuff there. Yes, still use a tea cosy, keeps it hot for a second cup or mug! We won't mention the m**bs, you can't take him anywhere😂

Great vlog Gaby! It nice to see that you try the British Transport Museum, am alway fascinating by trams how they can go on the road and the next minute they off the road. You right there, when you sit down all comfortable and its so hard to get up. Oh cool new TV! My family got a new tv a few mouths ago, the tv we had was still alright, we had it for 13 years, we just needed a upgrades. Look forward on you next vlog. I had my choir workshop on the Saturday then on the Sunday I went to cinema to see The Old Oak, on the weekend you did your vlog.

Great day, especially the transport museum. Like Tim, I have had an interest in buses since my school days, and still do, having been a member of two London Transport bus societies for many years. Thumps, of course, was a sheer delight to see. Appearances? You look absolutely great with or without makeup and Tim looks fine as well. Tell him to stop worrying! (Just a small observation, I did notice when you left the car to go into the transport museum, you did not blur out the registration number.)

G'day Gaby, Tim & Casper. Great video. Tim's story about wanting to work on the buses made me laugh. My dad worked on the buses in Manchester in 1958 and that is where my mam met him (lol). Casper is growing up so quick. He is such a cutie, got the best smile. Look forward to the next video.

My Dad was a bus driver when he came to Edmonton from Lipton Saskatchewan when he was a young man. They were all trolley 🚎 buses in those days.
