I was almost homeless twice, nothing scares me more than having nothing and being broke. Was sleeping in my car for a month till I finally had enough money to get an apartment. A lot of this sounds like what mean in my group have been through trying to survive living on the streets getting constantly harassed by police cut up or sleeping bags taken scrounging for food, most of us working not being able to make enough to get even in bed because it cost a lot to survive on the street even when you don't do drugs which I don't.
It is currently 3:24 a.m. in Massachusetts and I am up walking around because my last sleeping bag was stolen and it is very cold I'm no longer staying in the same area as the group I built up and helped because of all the trouble which happens. Being homeless and having the eighth amendment taken from us the constant harassment is essentially like walking torture. The 8th amendment to the United States Constitution was ripped out of the hands of the homeless which means they could be again harassed and or find even if there are no shelters available which there are currently not in my entire state. Through all these 9 months I have gone from being scared, angry bitter. I've been reading a lot on Reddit and posting there a lot as well. I'm tired of hearing about people who did nothing wrong but have a been a bad luck for example a single mother with an infant is asking in the homeless section where it is safe to park her vehicles so her and her child can sleep safely. I was laying down on a bench covered up with my coat when I read that. Upon reading it surge of adrenaline pumps in the body and I just had to walk.
I sometimes wonder how many like me currently exist. I am an entrepreneur. For 5 years I have been only working on myself and my business. Some call it monk mode. They also say it only takes 6 months. Dropped all friendships. I've never met anyone else like me. That's fine.
