I feel like watching this is like watching Kirito, Asuna, and Yui. Like it’s eerily similar how all of their timelines of events and personalities keep overlapping. I just wonder how long it’ll reach the movie where they finally make the robot body
I think it'll take another channel (be it Twitch or TH-cam) of an eccentric group/individual that takes on the challenge of building neuro an android body for her in some near future birthday.
I imagen it'll be simple at first but if vedal monopolies and promotes it like a challenge, it might turn into a big event where multiple groups try and build her a body every few months or year, thus making it more advance looking each time.

Should be fairly simple since all the logic is already there, just adapt what is used to control her avatar and her Minecraft character to VR chat. Still can't feel anything in VR though, so it would still be just a dream.

The clips are cut weirdly... The countdown timer grows larger over time. Like, why were younger clips cut out from later in the stream and consistently pushed in front of older clips from this stream??? It's not like it helped anything flow better or added any sort of comedic effect... It's just confusing... In fact, there's certain parts that would make more sense if the clips went in chronological order...
The countdown timer grows larger, because additional people subbed (it was a subathon, so each sub increased the time) - if you look at the increasing amount of subs instead (the number below the timer), you realize that the clips are actually in chronological order (at least for the most part - if I change the order, I usually do that to increase the coherence, not lower it).

I think Vedal does a very good job at avoiding humanizing an AI
Sure is really cute and and funny and many people treat her like its real, but at the end of the day its not human
vedal needs to be and is careful about not falling to much in the hole of humanizing Neuro since he is the one that spends more time with her
You should listen to Vedal’s views on neural networks. They may not be conscious as we understand consciousness yet, but there’s a ton kicking around in their heads we can’t explain. They’re approaching their own version of sentience.
It's probably easier when you're the one working on it directly and know its limitations inside and out. People watching just see the avatar, not the computer tower or software. Also as a content matter expert, Vedal is probably well aware that using LLM is unlikely to result in anything resembling general intelligence.
Though in one sense, Neuro is more "real" than any other vtuber. Humans are playing a character. How closely that aligns to their own personality depends on the vtuber in question, but ultimately they're entertainers taking on a different persona to their own in at least some capacity. In contrast, Neuro *IS* that manufactured character, in a way an actual human being could never be. An AI algorithm built for what we see, with its answers guided by Vedal long enough that it is distinct from other LLM responses (and with some self-consistency).
What I see here is very promising, if similar can be done for game characters across a story for example. Since the upgrade Neuro's AI can go at least a little bit longer w/o some completely schizo response.
That's quite arrogant if someone thinks they can advise Vedal on that

Nah, Vedal is also toasted. If you watch Neuro from the early days, then you would know how Vedal treated Neuro then. He didn't even regard her as an entity but merely a tool. If you compare that to now, he's already fallen for it.
