This is the oldest christian homily. It is a time capsule and it contains the true Pauline gospel: allegiance is counted as righteousness. Obedience is a necessary part of allegiance, therefore perseverance in obedient trust is necessary for salvation. This little preaching is proving that the so called "new perspective on Paul" is right and the Protestant Lutheran perspective is wrong. Heartbreaking no one commenting. Verbum dei manet in aeternum.Amen.
They think the old/orthodox doctrine is novel because they've never encountered it before. They think just because they have the same view as their grandparents of Paul's teachings that must mean that they've been believed that way forever.
Seen this post and thought to mention running into a gold mine recently, unsure if you have heard of the Clementine homilies or Clement Homily 1-18 which are Journals Clement kept while being trained in by Peter, Barnabas & Zaccheaus that were translated from their original Greek on "New Advent". Clements 18 volume diary has rarest depiction of the early life of the apostles, training and the history has been a fun treasure trove!!🤗
This is beautiful. Christians shouldn’t be scared of these books. Very thought provoking stuff going on here.
No they shouldn't be scared .. that's what we have the Holy Spirit for and the reason John said to test the spirits
This is very valuable information , interesting !
He explains one of the most non- obvious verses from the Gospel of Thomas!

I’m a Protestant who agrees with this epistle, I don’t see the issue of how it goes against our beliefs? I might be missing soemthing tho
