Love the whole idea of selling us on the use what you already have in your closet and starting by showing your basic looks was such a great idea and providing alternate looks for each basic really worked to inspire and it was refreshing.
The whole stressing taking care of your clothes is very important. I am a big handwasher of my garments because of the care I don't want to wear out and when I do use washer machine, I turn my clothing inside out and wash on cold.

I’m on a no buy year and I sit in my closet for about an hour looking around not touching anything . After that hour I emerge with about 3 outfit ideas . Works like a charm ❤

Love the belt, just lovely, such great fashion sense. I can’t always afford nice pieces like you have in your wardrobe, but every now and then I run across clothing at H&M, J. Crew, Madewell, Sam Edelman etc…mostly on sale.

Yes to changing the purpose of items.. and I definitely make things much more casual so I have invested more in my low sneaker game and my t-shirt game. But I will wear more statement jewelry pieces and handbags to mix up the cas to elevated cas vibes....I'm in the pause so I'm not adding any layers..LOL
