We need more songs like this made. It can really be the strength for people that have or are currently going through bullying. Back when I was going through public school and high school, there were no songs like this to give me any kind of strength. I am happy that now songs like this are being produced. Bullying is a HUGE global issue and the more people that have the strength to stand up to their bully's, the more bulling will come to an end. Bullies feed on your fear of them. If you don't fear them, they lose interest.

Bullies are only making you feel bad because they want to make themselves feel better. I try not to hate anyone, but it's hard. Alyssa Ried is an amazing person. This video reminds me of my grade 5 year I was bullied and my friend was pretending we wern't friends to make herself look good and it hurt. I decided to go to a the other middle school for grade 6-8 and I love it! So many schools don't deal with bullying. I have wished I could hit a button that could make the world bullying free.
I dunno if I'm giving this music video more credit than it's due, but I think the fact that she is proud to show off her body like that is a big part of this video's anti-bullying message. For me, it gives the message that you should be proud of your body whether it's fat or skinny, and you should be able to dress and express yourself in any form without fear of judgement - and even if people do judge you, it doesn't matter because it's your body and no one else's.
Few words to everyone who's being bullied and feel like giving up. Never stop trying, never ever give up and do not ever let them conquer you. If there saying mean things? There jealous, show them your bigger then they are. And even if its tearing you up on the inside, just put on a smile and pretend you do not have a care in the world. Talk to you sister, brother, mum or dad. People will always help when you least expect them too.
Whatever is going on that you are going through, it's not going to change if you aren't proactive. Talk to a parent, or a teacher. Guidance cousellers are great! You will feel a lot better if you talk to one of them, even if you might feel nervous beforehand. I wish you the best of luck, and rmember that these people (your parents, teachers, counsellers) are here to help you. No one has all the answers, but if you draw on others, you might find one for yourself.
Suicide is selfish because it takes away the help, advice, genuine story and relation to someone who you could meet and help in the future. I've been there, and I've come back. I know that I can talk to people going through those feelings and tell them life really is worth something because of the gifts you can give to other people over the years. Life is worth living, and I didn't see it that way when I was trying to end my own, but 5 years down the road, and still ALOT of BS I'm glad I'm here.
