Thanks for your video. Thumb up. You said that the fibers of the Platypus are glued in with a resin. Do you think it's possible to get all the fillings (fibers and resin) removed out of it? I wanna refill it it with cotten and activated char cole. I've never had a platypus in my hands before. So I wanna inform myself about this possibility before ordering. I like this design better than the Sawyer. I still have my sawyer, but this one wont lose the gasket, it is self contained and you can test the fibers for integrity. Some Sawyers had flow issues as well. Sawyer is fine, however I find this filter to be superior in design.
Really great that they send you a new one! A good Customer service is so important!
Have a great day! Kaat
I was pleased with their return policy.
Glad they stood behind it and made it right. 👍
Yes that was good.
Use the first need myself, To test I push blue dye thru it to test. Great video
Thanks
Never tried that brand. Lot of the lifestraws I used to use were pretty wimpy flow. Glad they made it right.
I think amazon gives them no choice. I like this filter.
Good customer service!
It was an easy return process.
That's a huge difference in flow rate!
Yes the first one was a dud.
Glad you got a good one. Looks like the luck of the draw with the quickdraw.
Yes for now it is.
Yikes. Glad they gave you a new one.
Me too.
I have these issues with the befree. Nothing comes out after one use.... It's so frustrating. Thank you for pointing this out

Me too, the flow rate is crazy low. I don’t use it as a result.
great tips! but sometimes it is such a hassle to return items here so we just let it be :(
