I am going to get my Botox done this coming Tuesday and would love to try Dysport once if you think it is better suited for the eye area. I will say Botox does not typically last very long for me. I do get it more for my under-eye creasing than for my actual "crow's feet" though so they don't put very much in that area. Would Dysport be better suited for this? Thanks so much in advance!

I am 57 years old and first noticed my faint forehead lines about 4-5 years ago. 3 years ago I discovered Gua Sha and bought a bian stone Gua Sha tool and a stainless steel one. The affect was immediate, today I have zero forehead lines. ZERO. I perform facial Gua Sha almost everyday (sometimes I miss), the reason I have continued performing it on myself it's because it is deeply relaxing and heaven-like to relax deeply before sleep. I love the experience of the facial massage and the beautiful natural scented oils on my face. I have faint marionette lines that I am determined to target (they become pronounced during winter & almost disappear in summer). I've noticed on myself that my skin has thickened or feels more elastic and I attribute it to the daily manual massages with the Gua Sha tool and vitamin C serum.

Also drinking water helps with masking the fine lines, if you are dehydrated you can see the lines deeper. Drink your 2 litres per day of water. I have one very faint line between my eyebrows that is only visible if I am dehydrated, normally is not there. I never frown and never crease my face when looking at something i don't like, if I need to squint I just lower my eyelids and only move the muscles around my eyes imperceptible.... no forehead wrinkling.

  • @vchafab

This is the main reason why I can’t do botox on my large forehead. I have very deep horizontal lines even though I am 34 because I lift my forehead so I can see (I have hooded eyes). With botox it makes my eyes droopy and I can’t lift them anymore. So guess I have to pick: no lines but can’t see or lines but can see 😂

Huh. Watched many of his videos. This one was pretty heavy. Hard to explain. But for example, he said he “treats” the area around the eyes with botox. Huh. It’s not medical. It’s natural wrinkles when smiling. Well, I do botox around the eyes only, every 3 month, but I don’t like the flat results at crown’s feet. Second, korean masks - there’s so many masks. Not just korean, more or less all the same. Hard to find the ones without fragrance. Some dried me out - probably they included niacinamide - I must avoid it. But it sounded like we must use a mask 3 times a week or we’re doomed. Well no. Not really. Aha’s and retinols can cause fat pads to disappear? Huh I need more info, pls! And threads?? What’s with them? I thought they’re out of fashion, so many issues with them. They might be overstocked… Well, the video was interesting but hard to watch with many issues. Let us age gracefully. 1- Heavy? I m not understanding. I share education I learn. Use it to your best ability to suit. We are all different
2- masks- korean are the most gentle I have found and I travel the world. Low inflammation, no fragrance and the best ingredients. Simply make your own if you wish. I have free vids with FREE recipes..If you like free.. if you want once a week great/ more...thats fine too. My patients on average use 3 x a week. Me? i m travelling and working 18 hr days...maybe 1 a week.
3- botox eyes. if you do not like the look...never do it. You are not missing collagen production as botox only stops movement. i m not a big botox fan or user. BUT I know many love it...thats OK too
Take "heavy out of your vocabulary here. Enjoy the education and watch more vids to find your best journey and what may work for you.
Life is short. Happiness is key...not heaviness.

eh, I didn't think that the dermaroller destroys fat on the forehead. even if the needles are only 1.0 mm deep?
I also like to fight wrinkles when washing with a Gouache scraper...
During the day, I perfectly control facial expressions. But yes, the largest number of wrinkles between the eyebrows and forehead appear after sleep. That's why I use tape. I don't glue somehow according to the rules - I just tighten every place where there are wrinkles. and stick a small piece of tape.
I am not against Botox, but because of the war in the Motherland (Ukraine), I am temporarily living where it is risky to go for Botox to an untested cosmetologist...
That's why I struggle with forehead wrinkles.

@@atreastaasreas1965 Hi! I use SVVIMER Face Smoothing Wrinkle Patches. I bought them at Amazon here in Canada. Most likely you can purchase them there as well. I use them the way I like for my needs.
My biggest concern was upper lip lines because I am a side sleeper. So use a large forehead piece and cut it down to cover my entire upper lip. It’s really made a change to my upper lip. The furrow mark between my eyebrows has respond really well too. It stays flat all day almost every day. I also use Filorga skin care, and am 66 years old.
I wish you good success. Enjoy your day!

But as far as the areas I concentrated on my my forehead corners & some around my mouth to me hasn’t gotten better. I’m hoping it hasn’t made it worse. I don’t use retinol though but once a week & have been maybe 2yrs. I get a lot of compliments on my skin but I’m just fussy about those 2 areas.

Since doing microneedling I have wrinkles that I DIDN'T HAVE BEFORE, only above my right eyebrow, and a very marked vein on my right temple, is it due to inflammation or loss of fat? Please if someone could answer me I would be eternally grateful!
