Sufficient aid now gives results in 6 to 9 months if maintained - it has to be sent, allotted, trained, logistics secured and what have you. And that's short term items. Arms production in country takes even longer - Since Ukraine couldn't get everything it needs Ukraine has to produce it all in country - for instance 155mm rounds and SPG's to simply stem the meat tide.

As a US veteran from a family of veterans, it was wonderful to see Speaker Johnson finally cave to the majority of both houses of Congress. And although it’s a lot of money, it represents only about 3% of our military’s budget. Also it should be noted the US had not committed as much as other countries based on their individual GDP, in fact we were somewhere in the middle based on GDP. .Glory to All of the Heroes of Ukraine ….and I think that Pitl.r has control of over half of the Oligarchs money and an amount of their funds ends up in his hidden pockets… like the M.b boss that he is …. 💙💛💙

I wrote my Congressman, and today my Senator. I'm sure it will pass the Senate and Biden will definitely sign. WE ARE REALLY LUCKY TO GET THIS THROUGH. Now Europe must look at this as time to get defense industry up to speed. The aid may not happen again. For now, Celebrate!

      It´s unavoidable
Putin decided it in September 2022, probably without understanding

    Americans, take note:
    Republicans
Voted YES to aid Ukraine: 101
Voted NO to aid Ukraine: 112
    Democrats
Voted Yes to aid Ukraine: 210
Voted NO to aid Ukraine: Zero
I am so happy that some republicans support Ukraine, but we must remember that the Democratic Party is united in November. 🇺🇸💙🇺🇦
If your rep is a Republican, please check how your representative voted and start communicating your disappointment if they made the wrong decision. We must keep working to help Ukraine.
    Heroyam slava. 💙💛

Note: ALL the democrats voted YES for the bill to pass. 210 Dem votes.
The bill passed and that's what is important, not the pro ruzzian faction of the republican "party"..

I’m glad that the Democrats got one issue right this term. Too bad their leaders don’t want to give Ukraine the tools to win, and not just to damage Russia.

Assets for sure. ATACMS can't kick him out, the oligarchs may be able to.........but that's still a major stretch, for now.
Stuff should be arriving already, I would imagine there were pre positioned stocks in Poland. Logistics is the US military's super power. Can't say the same for the post office, ugh.

What Putin fears is a fully cooperative and unified world. Not even that everyone has to agree but at least work towards common goals for everyone. It doesn't have to be some complicated thing generally speaking what the world collectively decides is the kind of world we are going to have for the future.

73% support Ukraine, both in the House and in the country. That should be closer to 100%, but it's enough to get the bill passed! I messaged Senator Tammy Baldwin today asking for her support for the aid bill, and I'm pretty sure she's supportive. 💛💙🗽
