For example, if you're still a Padawan during RotS, you probably wouldn't be able to just wander up to a Council member and hear about their arrest of Palpatine, so you would never find out that they needed help. Unless, I suppose, you have a high enough Force-related parameter to feel yourself needed at the Chancellor's Office. This would be the same way you would need to see Order 66 coming, unless you were at the Temple and you have the perfect stat build to beat Vader (even if you don't kill him - maybe he can still flee) or if you have the wherewithal to not even be noticed by him and just fight your way through the 501st to escape yourself (or just hide until Yoda & Obi-Wan arrive). Stays his blade and begins to help defend the temple and evac some of the Jedi before escaping to fight Palpatine later for his sins

In defense of white Vader, that was from an alternate universe comic that was put out by Dark Horse Comics called Star Wars Infinities: Return of the Jedi (There were also Infinities comics based on the other two OT films) which, among other changes, features Vader (now Anakin once again) surviving at the end and switching to a white version of his suit.
A Battlefront with branching SW Infinities storylines would have been cool. When you "fail" a mission, you can either replay or follow an Infinities path.
I mean he also saw the love of his life die in front of him. Had his master die In front of him and had to kill his brother. If he did choose the dark side honestly no Jedi has gone through as much pain as obi wan
The trouble with light-side Vader just wearing a white version of his suit is that the design and aesthetics of Vader's suit were derived from ancient Sith armour. A Jedi version of Vader wouldn't wear a white version of his canon armour. I know that they'd never do this, because his design is just too iconic, but I've always felt that Jedi Vader would wear something based on the helmets of Jedi temple guards.
Dark Obiwan? Easy, kill Satine before end of their mission, when they were younger. He said it himself: "Had you say a word i would've left Jedi order".
the white armour vader is actually a design from an alternate ending comic where he survived the end of RotJ and turned to the light side. joining luke and helping bring peace to the galaxy with his new look
I heard somewhere that "Redeemed Vader" actually came from a "What if?" comic series which was like, alternate events for the movies. Like Han Solo ending up permanently blind after being freed from the Carbonite. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah that’s where it comes from, thank god you said something because I knew he was from there but part of me wasn’t sure completely and nobody else was saying anything.
These are just cool. It’s like calling alternate universes in comics stupid. I honestly think all these are cool ideas. None of these would even be cannon so I don’t really see the problem with this.
Battlefront 4 was an idea to expand the sandbox into the Infinities (the white armoured, redeemed Vader and Jedi Leia are both straight out of "Star Wars Infinities" in fact.), allowing for any hero unit to be played by any faction, this means a light side and dark side version of each character. Mirror matches, really there's no reason not to, Galactic Conquest modes let you play fast and loose with the timeline events anyways, might as well extend that to the characters as well. Also don't judge Concept art too harshly, a big part of it is to throw ideas at the wall, visual brainstorming and give the director more to work with, as often the final result will be picking and choosing elements from multiple iterations. The Chunky Vader reminds me of a Gantz hard suit.
Joruus C'baoth was a clone of a Jedi that went crazy and fell, so that idea makes some sense. That being said, swole Vader made me laugh harder than it should have. My only question is: Where tf is Darth Binks in all this? Lmao
I mean I guess with the dark Obi-Wan you could say that in that timeline he was recruited by the Darkside rather than the light. Also as a sidenote I think it is a neat concept seeing a redeemed Darth Vader, perhaps an alternate timeline where he survives return of the Jedi. There’s a lot of need designs that were showing off here but I would probably have to go with the white Darth Vader suit personally. That way you keep all the cool design choices of the Vader suit but it’s color is now inverted to show his change back to the light side. Again maybe this is just because I like the idea of what if‘s and alternate takes on stories but I’ll admit this actually is quite interesting concepts for this game.
The old obi-wan's design is dope af. It looks so cool, and also the fact that he is searching for relics and such adding with the costume, gives me old republic vibes
You know X1 & X2 were in Battlefront Elite Squadron where you play as X2 and eventually have to end up fighting his brother X1, who became a Sith Lord.
I like the idea of a "switchies" campaign where the dark side goes light and the light side goes dark, but their execution probably wouldn't have been good.
2:25 WELL, Obi-wan was actually an expert in jar’kai!!! There’s an episode of clone wars where Obi-Wan dual wields while fighting darth maul and maul’s brother, and the story behind it is that Obi-wan worked on almost all forms, albeit not to the point of mastery(outside of the defensive-minded form 3, in which he was a legit form 3 master).
i want something like this, could also make some sort of series based off of it idk, something happens at the very beginning that kickstarts a different timeline like this
This reminds me of the PS2 Revenge of the Sith game. If both players chose the same character in the versus duel mode, one of them got an alternate version of said hero. Some of those were pretty awesome (like Grievous with grey armor and red sabers, or Jedi Dooku with a purple saber)
Honestly, I’d love a “What if…” style Star Wars game. Is the idea of Luke or Obi-wan turning to the Dark Side kinda ridiculous? Yeah, but that’s why it’s fascinating. You’re not supposed to take it too seriously; you’re just supposed to enjoy the ride. It’s like Injustice Superman or those weird alternate timelines where Spider-man is evil and the Green Goblin is the good guy.
Closest thing I've seen to Rainbow Troopers is the Rainbow Marines from very EARLY W40K, who ended up being retconned into the Jaguar Warriors, but in all versions were actually space Aztecs.
If there’s ever another battlefront game, I want JarJar. I think it would be cool how if you attack normally it does barely any damage but at the same time, he could stumble around and do twice the damage normal hero’s would
It's crazy, but at least it's daring and looks like it could be some fun. I miss the days when developers working on licenced games did weird and wacky stuff like this simply on the basis that it was, and declared that it was strictly, non-canonical.
A timeline in where order66 was ignored or something would be dope, clones were always my favourite part of star wars, would've been dope if they were still a thing
The reason Windu’s saber is purple is because on the battle of Genonosis, Samuel L. Jackson asked George Lucas if he can have a purple saber so he can be seen and be like “look there’s me”
The Revenge of the Sith game as well as both Force Unleashed games had alternate universe missions and costumes. There were even three "Infinite" comics which reimagined the events of the OT, so I'm not sure why you keep saying Lucasfilm wouldn't have approved these.
White Vader actually makes sense. He's an official comic character. yes, it was only in one comic which showed an alternate universe of empire strikes back... I think. I can't remember exactly, but it was something like that. it was him siding with the Rebellion against the Empire. it's unknown if it was for the same reason Luke joined the Rebellion, but most believe it's so he can slowly corrupt Luke and have him turn to the dark side. Darth Leia happened in the alternate universe comics as well. each comic told alternate outcomes to the events of the OT. the only thing they didn't have was her in a cloaked version of the slave Leia outfit. I kinda like that outfit for various reasons. Yes, it was Leia at her hottest. However, it's also a unique uniform. Besides, if a Twi-Lek(Darth Talon), which is generally an overly sexualized alien species in star wars lore, can be a sith lord in a two-piece bikini 24/7... why can't a human?

Dark Obiwan? Easy, kill Satine before end of their mission, when they were younger. He said it himself: "Had you say a word i would've left Jedi order".
I kinda wanna see a what if scenario where Obi-Wan actually does leave the order for her
8:26 Ah yes, Punished Owen "A Fallen Legend"
This guy fought the storm troopers off..... with his bare hands!
0:32 bro the empire celebrates pride month
the white armour vader is actually a design from an alternate ending comic where he survived the end of RotJ and turned to the light side. joining luke and helping bring peace to the galaxy with his new look
The idea of an alt timeline would be awesome, could see some things we weren’t able to see in the OT, like full potential Anakin/Vader
7:31 The guy getting killed by Palps isn't Eeth Koth but Agen Kolar!
Not actually that dumb. They're just Mirror Universe versions of the established characters. Some of the designs were admittedly failtastic though.
These concepts have been out for some time and I've loved them. They are fun alt versions.
Me time traveling in star wars: Breaths
The entire Star Wars timeline:
When you said 5% obi-wan I was expecting 95% Vader. When you said frog that got me lol
I thought he would say 95 % Darth Malgus.
At this point Vader is so buff that he can block lightsaber beams with his arms 😂
The old obi-wan's design is dope af. It looks so cool, and also the fact that he is searching for relics and such adding with the costume, gives me old republic vibes
I really like that non-cyborg Grievous, idk, just looks really neat
You know X1 & X2 were in Battlefront Elite Squadron where you play as X2 and eventually have to end up fighting his brother X1, who became a Sith Lord.
I like the idea of a "switchies" campaign where the dark side goes light and the light side goes dark, but their execution probably wouldn't have been good.
2:25 WELL, Obi-wan was actually an expert in jar’kai!!!
There’s an episode of clone wars where Obi-Wan dual wields while fighting darth maul and maul’s brother, and the story behind it is that Obi-wan worked on almost all forms, albeit not to the point of mastery(outside of the defensive-minded form 3, in which he was a legit form 3 master).
tbh some of these aren't that bad, for example 2:01the Sith lord obi-wan with the long beard looks awesome.
i want something like this, could also make some sort of series based off of it idk, something happens at the very beginning that kickstarts a different timeline like this
Shitty fanfiction plot, check. Double lightsabers, check. Emo dark jedi, check. Yup, this is 2008.
An Obi-Wan boy band. My only thought for the name "Obi-Wan Direction".
Darth Vader have a white suit is actually from a what if comic. Yoda takes control of the deathstar and smashes it into Courascant.
The Mace windo concept was definitely the best
This reminds me of the PS2 Revenge of the Sith game. If both players chose the same character in the versus duel mode, one of them got an alternate version of said hero. Some of those were pretty awesome (like Grievous with grey armor and red sabers, or Jedi Dooku with a purple saber)
The mace windu corrupted is actually sick ngl
Bombastic: look at these crazy characters!
Guy that made them: 🥴
Me: 😑
If there’s ever another battlefront game, I want JarJar. I think it would be cool how if you attack normally it does barely any damage but at the same time, he could stumble around and do twice the damage normal hero’s would
It's crazy, but at least it's daring and looks like it could be some fun. I miss the days when developers working on licenced games did weird and wacky stuff like this simply on the basis that it was, and declared that it was strictly, non-canonical.
while a lot of these concepts are so ridiculous...
some are also very plausible to happen in the event of an "Alt Universe"
A timeline in where order66 was ignored or something would be dope, clones were always my favourite part of star wars, would've been dope if they were still a thing
2:42 why is he holding his saber like that, he cant rest it on his shouldler lol
Hey man, don't knock X1 and X2. Battlefront Elite Squadron was my childhood on DS.
I like the idea of seeing dark side version of light side characters and light side version of dark side characters
You got to admit that some of the concept art looks pretty rad independently of how dumb or nonsensical they might be
The reason Windu’s saber is purple is because on the battle of Genonosis, Samuel L.
I honestly just find these interesting. The good ones make me imagine possible ways they could be seen in a show or something.
Just take me to the dimension where these games were completed and released.
Bombastic: He's a clone of a Jedi who has turned to the dark side. Alright, any of this sounding too much like fan fiction yet?
Timothy Zahn: 😬
Anyone else think that dark Luke and dark Kenobi look like inquisitors
old man sith Obi Wan looks like a god of war character
4:31 he actually put it there this time lol
Watch bombastic get cancelled for calling rainbow troopers a bad idea
I honestly love all these ideas I think they could all work
