Capanna Albagno ¦ TICINO ¦ SWITZERLAND

After several weeks of rainy weather I got blessed with a sunny Sunday. Without any further doubt I packed everything and left for Capanna Albagno, at 1870 meters a.s.l.
The hut, under the UTOE Bellinzona association, can be reached in several ways. The one I chose started in Monte Carasso. After taking the tiny cable car (make sure to book in advance as it only carries 8 people every 15 minutes) I started my hike at the final stop called Mornera. In 1:30 h you can reach the final destination by passing through woods and next to the majestic "via ferrata dei 3 Signori.
Total positive ascent: 523 meters.
