Quick reminder to tourists visiting San Francisco, please do not leave valuable items in your vehicle while visiting any popular landmarks even during the day. There are alot of smash and grabs. Have an adult wait in the car and rotate so you all can enjoy the view. Have fun and enjoy.
Isn’t it sad that you have to do that in America 😢
@@Patsworldbabymainly San Francisco
@@PatsworldbabySan Francisco mostly
Do not go to SF it’s not safe.
@@dgyoutube2405 I remember being there in 2021. It looked like Iraq. I can only imagine what it looks like now.
I will be going in May ! Will be my first time in California ❤️😍
Great list with many hidden gems no one else is mentioning
I just love San Francisco! My husband and I live in the Central Valley and we go S.F. a couple times of year (to get away from the heat! Lol), even during Christmas time. Despite the negative news, we still visit there and have a fun time and we have walked all over the city stay at the hotels on or near Union Square or near the Bay.. great local restaurants and cool local shops and all the years we have visited, we always fine some new place we haven’t been to or trying new restaurants. I grew up near downtown L.A. for thirty years but I’ve been to San Francisco more! Lol.. my mom still lives near L.A. so we visit her and just go to the beach areas to spend time there. We also love going to Sausalito, then Burlingame and Palo Alto. So much to see in Northern California ❤️
Alcatraz Island and Golden Gate seems great to visit
Those are two of the major sites but there's plenty to do other than that.
I really love San Francisco! I’ve been twice for my birthday and it’s been hard doing anything else for my birthday every year. I’ve seen these videos and everyone seem to forget to show umbrella alley. It’s so beautiful vibrant and creative. Overall great list and I’ll be back to one of my favorite cities soon 🤗
Lots of homelessness, crime, and drugs too.
@@lukebandy516better than most cities in the usa still
I should've found and watched this vlog before I visited San Francisco last month! Great vlog.
Plenty to do in San Francisco.
I like Presidio a nice spot for running in a beautiful nature...
I’m heading to San Francisco next month and I’m excited. This video was beyond helpful…I hope to get to at least 10 of the items on this list.
Well Westfield just closed and the downtown area is abandoned and a lot of spaces are vacant
Hope you enjoy your time there.
@@ramenlover1727don’t forget about those drug addicted and homeless people hangin around on tenderloin that place should be avoid at all cost no matter it is so nasty and stink too i saw a homeless man takin a shit in the middle of the day in front the Vietnamese restaurant
Well shot. beautiful images of a beautiful city!
🔥🔥
Great video, I counted and there was about 8 things I STILL haven't done after 14 years! Amazing that one city has SO many things worthwhile. The only thing I might have added was The Mission or Bernal Heights Hill and ITS view (maybe ok so the touristy dont go!). Oh yeah, and are you single?
If u like SFran in 2023, u woulda loved it infinitely more in prior decades
I reckon The Exploratorium should be here! And it's a big draw card!
thank you lot's lovely princess
as a bay area resident, loved watching this! saw some staples but also reminded me of a lot of places I still wanna venture to so ty!! 😊
love the toisan shoutout
Very nice video !
We’re planning to visit SF end of Aug this year.
Thank you, well done
Thanks for the info. Going there to visit my mom !
This was awesome! Thanks for sharing. Hope to visit next summer.
need to make it over to SF sometime soon!! so many places to visit 🥹💓
me thinking the same about Seattle!!!!
@@emilyyenleeu should’ve let everybody know about those drug addicted and those homeless population in San Francisco tenderloin and don’t forget about car break-in and robbery as well
@@emilyyenleeSan Francisco is not a fun place to visit anymore way too many drug addicted homeless people the mentally ill robbery so many stores in San Francisco are closin down for good due to high crime and theft Westfield mall in San Francisco is gettin ready to close down for good
Wonderful video and list!
Other museum recommendations: Cable Car Museum and Walt Disney Family Museum
omg i love all the small clips and the fun facts!! so many places that i have never seen or heard before and will note down many spots for future SF trips!! hope you had fun exploring your hometown :-)
Fun!
San Francisco is such a beautiful and big city. There is so much to do in San Francisco. Good video again Emily.
That’s true!
Going to San Fransico for the first time in September- what do you recommended packing clothing wise?😊
Dress in layers, September is usually mild and sunny or some fog, it can be cool in the 60s or milder and in the 70s so short sleeves with a jacket or hoodie. Stay in the tourist areas GG Bridge, Pier 39, Alcatraz, Lombard St, cable car, Alamo Square, Ferry Building and stay out of the Tenderloin and you should have fun
I've lived in the bay for 14 years and i haven't even been to a lot of these places! Really need to learn from the locals!
Thank you so much, Emily. I’m coming this Saturday for the first time and I am so excited 😆. You gave some suggestions that I haven’t heard of from other TH-camrs. You rock 🪨
No problem!!! Hope you packed warm clothes it’s been so cold here lately 🥲
Don’t leave anything in your car. A lot of car break ins.
@@MegaHunter90210 Thanks. We saw the signs EVERYWHERE! We just got back to Georgia this morning. We were fortunate nothing happened to our rental. Thanks!
Great video!
@@emilyyenleeliving in San Francisco is just absolutely really expensive not only that and its really bad as well way too many drug addicted homeless robbery so many stores in San Francisco are closing down for good due to too many theft the Westfield mall in San Francisco is getting ready to close down as well
Beautiful. !!!!!
Yes thank you! Been trying to find these types of recommendations. I see so much of NYC and Hawaii, but not much of SF!
ahhh glad you liked the video!! ☺
@@emilyyenlee just sent you a question on perhaps where to stay on IG!
Such a helpful and fun video !
Thanks for sharing!!
Great list, beautiful city
Some beautiful sights in San francisco for sure.
it use to be a great city but not anymore due to drug addicted homeless robbery thieves will break into your car in the middle of the day steal your stuff and if u try to do something about they gonna pull a gun on u
I love your travel guide! it's deep into SFO and the descriptions are right to the points, very helpful!
The airport? I should visit the airport?
One thing I think should be mentioned is the exploritorium. Very cool place! No worries, though, love this video!
my DMs are always open for questions/share recommendations!! 💕
I have been seeing a few concerns. I do agree that theft has become a big issue in San Francisco the past couple of years. However, I also think that the narrative in the media of San Francisco being an extremely violent and dangerous place can be misleading and should not deter you from visiting. With every major city comes higher rates of crime. Please be aware of your surroundings, never leave valuables in your car, trust your instincts, and call for help as soon as possible if you witness a crime
Hi
Thank u!
You need to add a 50 places most likely to be robbed.
Ahhh you're vlog made me homesick 😢❤
Thank you for putting this together! Well researched. I can't wait to try some of your suggestions!
thanks for the video!! Coming from Aus in August and this really helped!!
Thanks for sharing this with us😍🙏
San Francisco is amazing ✨
Nice tips. Did you know that Lisbon (Portugal) has a bridge similar to The Golden Gate and it is called The 25 April Bridge
If I had to visit San Francisco, I’d visit Haight Ashbury! This is because it has many stores that sell
hippie clothing.
Loved it , thank you ❤
Nice, I will go to San in 3 weeks by myself, is interesting places to visit, thanks for sharing
thank u for this video!! me and my friend are visiting this saturday for my birthday and i needed inspiration. this is very helpful, thank u ^^
Happy early birthday!! 🥳
This is awesome thank you :))
Great Video! Super helpful.
Thank you for that nice review!
Very informative . Really love your vlog ❤
See u in August 2022 eat in China Town..
Very nice video Emily ❤️
Nice video Emily Lee. Some great places covered.
Great video Emily ! Must have taken a while to make it thank you !
GREAT VIDEO! Thank you so much
I used to work with my sister at Coit Tower ahha, damn it feels like another life. Really miss that city , It's like a home for me , even if I only lived 4 years there.
Been over four times [2002.06.10 &14] and included a 'bit of a hike' up to Coit.....years later then we discovered a bus from nearby Beach Street [Wharf district]. Great history and fantastic views over the Bay
Awesome video and I love San Francisco as it is a wonderful modern city with a lot of things to see and do always
Great video
Been here 12 years and I still discover new neighborhoods
Great job! Just subscribed to your channel!
love the content.
I would advise people if planning to come to SF, never leave anything in your car. Be alert at all times. And never expose anything that may attract nice people’s attentions that may become a target. Remember SF has become a very friendly place.😂
Thanks for the honest content. I'm visiting soon with my husband and looking for some places to see :)
Nice video Keep it up. 💯 subscribing your channel ❤️
This is such a great list! Will stay at SFO for 3 months this year I will def visit the places
51. Run away while you still can!
For china town, where was those food stands located at? The food looks yummy
Great video, thank you. 2,3,5,8,15,18-20,25,33,39,40,48,49 official video description or drag/scan to video part to see the site if forgotten.
What about the zoo?
You forgot to mention, MOMA museum, Coit tower, Diego Rivera’s murals, la mission neighborhood, Grace cathedral, point bonita lighthouse, fort funston
Kinda surprised that the Mission district was not mentioned at all
Right!
Pier 39 is definitely a tourist trap, but don’t let that deter you from getting Trish’s Mini Donuts! They’re so good! I swear I can finish a whole bucket 😂
i saw transamerica and immediately thought wizards of waverly place
Going next month for 4 days and want to pack all 50 things somehow hahaha
Hope you enjoyed your time there.
#51. Visit the tenderloin at 2am in the morning 😊
Having played the Grand Theft Auto series I'm familiar with many of those sites.
San Francisco used to be the most beautiful place to visit. You felt safe it was clean and customer service with their hotels was really wonderful. Now you find that even the most luxurious hotels like the marquee their management doesn’t give a hoot about your request about the fact that you’re an elite member and in fact, they don’t even care to call you back when you have a concern
Can you please do a best clubs/bars in sf?
Hey Emily..
Do you have any itinerary for SFO?
If yes please send it to me.
You forgot the Legion Of Honor as an art museum. It's probably the most impressive one.
✝
How many day I need to visit all this places ??
fun fact, they used to let you climb the bow but now there are things surrounding it.
You forgot there is farmers market at the ferry building on Wednesdays!
Hi Emily! My family and I are going to San Francisco in August! I know that traffic downtown is pretty hectic. Is there a good spot to park and possibly walk/ ride a bus or cable car downtown?
Hope you enjoy your time there.
Gee I grew up there. I live off of 14th.Street and went to School there as for many years. Until I Gadalation and through like a Bird. Every once in I think of my home of San Francisco where are my friends lived
I'm going to San Francisco the end of this month any recommendations for pizza places to try out? If anyone has recommendations please let me know!
is it safe to travel there right now?
Smash and grabs will happen. Leave everything in your hotel or keep it on you. Beautiful city tho
hi, I'm flying from a different country to see san francisco, los angeles and the grand canyon, do you think I need to RENT a car in San Frascisco or is the public transportation easy and handy?
No need to rent a car...SF is walkable and has decent public transportation or you can take Uber. Stay out of the Tenderloin and have a great vacation
I love my city and my dad still live there so I go there every two weeks but it ain’t safe and it’s so dirty
Angel Island?
#51 😅
No mention of Golden State Warriors? Really? Top 50 without the best team in Basketball the last 8 years... Do over!
Scratch union square and Powell turn around. It’s all closed now. Cliff house was cool in the day but it was ruined too. I can’t believe the bums and junkies aren’t on the list. You’ll see more of those than anything else. Visit the Pacific Cafe. Superb local secret.
I missed SF.
Then go back.

How to get there in Alcatraz
Ferry
Order tickets to the island ahead of time. They are often sold out days before.
I didn’t see you outside of my house bro
Did I not see Fisherman's Wharf??
Fishermans warf is in pier39!!!
@@mr.electrolemon1574, no; it's not. Have you been here, San Francisco?
1:34 definitely a tourist trap 😂
