Excited for the new series, funnily enough, I was just working on making prospect pyramids for every team yesterday. The placement of Cutter Gauthier just feels off to me, he was one of the best players in both the world juniors and NCAA last year. I just can’t see how that doesn’t warrant a tier 2, but regardless, great video.

    T1: Cutter
    T2: Zellweger, Luneau, Sennecke
T3: Gaucher, Pastujov, Sidorov, Suchanek, Solberg, Colangelo, Dionicio
T4: Myatovic, Hinds, Terrance, Masse, Mysak, Warren, Pitre, Clara
    T5: The rest

Siderov is sick. Might be the most underrated prospect

Totally mislead by your thumbnail having Sennecke on the top of the pyramid. Disappointed by your assessment as a ducks fan but I’m totally biased.

Just curious as to why you had Mintyukov in the depth category? He was one of the best rookies in the league the first quarter of last year before his deployment got worse with Drysdale's return + his own injuries and showed phenomenal 2 way upside as a first year pro. I think he'll be Anaheim's second best player long term after Leo

It's a broad category to me but he's at the top end of it is all. I'm always more conservative about projecting young players as well. Not a ton of guys get themselves into higher tiers across the league, but he's among the best in his group with Gauthier.
Rest assured I'm a big Mintyukov fan.

You are the best hockey prospect channel that I've found on TH-cam. There are other good channels that focus more on general topics in hockey, but you are the best that focuses solely on prospects.

Super excited for the rest of this series! Seeing the Gauthier placement I cant wait to get annoyed when you put Levshunov in the depth tier too lmao

The ducks may not have like a bedard or future top 5 player in the league but they have to own the deepest group of young players and prospects in the league

As someone who actually watches every ducks game and pays attention to the team, I’m okay with everything except where Cutter Gauthier and Sam Coangelo are in this pyramid. I think both of them will be seeing quite a few if not all games with the ducks this season. Sennecke still needs to win me over so no opinion on his placement.

I definitely see where you’re coming from and at least Gauthier really pushes the line in my mind. Regardless they should be really useful players.

What does Sennecke have to do to ‘win you over’ 😂. The scouting staff loved him, that’s all that matters

Shouldn't the RED WINGS have been the FIRST team you covered as they have the best prospect pool.
That is, if you were doing best to worst like you said.

With each passing video I get more and more unreasonably butthurt that Gauthier and Sennecke arent in "core".

The Maybes list is going to be straight-up massive for Carolina. Their strategy in the draft is high quantities of long-shot but high-upside. As for the Ducks, yeah, I think Gauthier is a core piece, with Sennecke as somewhat of a core/depth tweener, but besides that, I agree with every other assessment here.

Just for reference: College goals (best season)
      Jack Eichel: 26 goals
      Cole Caulfield: 30 goals
      Johnny Gaudreau (RIP): 36 goals
      Adam Fantilli: 30 goals
      CUTTER GAUTHIER: 38 goals

Nice video, but I think Cutter should be higher than you ranked him.
