- We delivered Sal's new 'Grounded' chassis to the 2017 Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, CA. Two years later he shows up with a complete truck looking killer. We talk with Sal about the build and how it came to be.
That is one SICK 53 well done Gentleman.
Now that's what you call bought an built
You executed this build flawlessly 😎👌
Amazing truck . Great interior and paint .
Nice details
Real nice truck👍🏻
I’m loving these 50s Chevy trucks and yours is one of the best builds I’ve seen. Very clean and original with a touch of modern with the bags and wheels. Killer color as well. Well done sir!
It looks very special sir fabulous
Very nice truck gents it looks really sweet 🏆
Love this truck! Let me know if ya want to sell it. It’s almost perfect for me 🤗
Did the owner have paint & body experience before painting this truck? Looks awesome!
Just for my own reference, the cab is the only original part used?? That would make the build easier if you didn't need the rest of the truck.
Yeah, pretty much. It's basically a brand new truck now.
Would you know what headers Sal is running? I have a 53 Chevy truck as well and the same TCI bagged chassis with an LS motor, thank you👍🏽
I seem to remember he had a factory set of manifolds on it.
@@tcimuscle Thank you👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
nice truck and beuty
Hi, Nice truck!!!! I have a project Chevy 3100 and I’m wonder which Door handle is that’s? Where can I buy those door handle?
We're not sure where they came from. The next time we see Joe we'll be sure to ask him.
'54 and '55 are the only years that had them.
Beautiful build, and love the chassis! (Do you ship to Europe?) :P
We don't ship direct but we have dealers that can help. Drop our Sales Manager an e-mail with some details and he can help. Evan@totalcostinvolved.com
@@tcimuscle Thx, don't have a truck yet, good ones are hard to find here. Wil contact when I do.
What size rims you got in the the rear
About 2 minutes into the video, Sal talks about them. They are U.S. Mags Rambler II in 20". Not sure of the width but a quick search of U.S. Mags website shows they are available in 8", 8.5", 9.5", 10" & 10.5 in 20" diameter. Our guess would be 8's up front and 8.5" or 9.5" out back.
Thank you
Hey man. I just found your channel. I really like what you are doing. I have a 1954 Dodge Fargo that I am trying to restore. I subbed your channel so maybe we can help each other out. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍
Nice wheels, brand and size?

Please don't call yourself a builder when the ENTIRE truck is new. You're an assembler. And it looks just like everyone else does.
Esse carro baixo só tem muita besteira não presta para anda no quebra mola.
Tell us how you really feel.
Tell the Spring Breakers to ride the bus. This thing is beautiful! Cruise on.
Same awful dropped and swapped mess, different color.
Nothing is original on this truck..
