    Fantastic video, Clear easy to understand straight to the point and not too long. and most importantly minimal background music.

      Only if your doctor advices or if the SpO2% is getting less than 92%.

    Since heart rate is influenced by many factors (coffee, anxiety, emotion etc.), I'm wondering if a person's resting heart rate (RHR) fluctuates throughout the day (same day)? If so, what range of variation is considered normal?

    sorry but how do we exactly use it? I have one but it makes different readings on different fingers
    how do I line it up? again I got different reading doing this, as seen in your video the nail should be lined up with the lower light
    I tested it and realized if I take deep breaths my oxygen saturation goes higher
    Could you please answer me? I have covid symptoms and I'm really anxious with this thing

    • @Oxygenconcentratorstore
      @Oxygenconcentratorstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please reach out to your healthcare provider for proper tests. Pulse oximeter won't tell if you have COVID-19 or not.

    Should I check while sitting down?

    • @Oxygenconcentratorstore

      @@Oxygenconcentratorstore Would sitting also be the best posture to measure resting heart rate?

  • @lev801
    @lev801 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    May know the proper body position to measure. For myself while sitting it's 97. Lying it between 92 to 95 sometimes 90. May I know which one I need to consider.

    • @Oxygenconcentratorstore
      @Oxygenconcentratorstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should not change that much. Ensure that you keep your finger still for 15-20 seconds - as movement will not give proper reading.

    My reading keeps changing each time i take it.. Some times the prbpm jumps to 236 or 150...
    And stays there and the saturation shows 99, then jumps to 88 and then jumps to 69.
    I don't know if it is a glitch.
    The model I use is YXY018A

      Keep your hand steady for 30 seconds while taking a reading. If you can arrange another pulse oximeter, try two simultaneously.

  • @zieyansani9085
    @zieyansani9085 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It is normal if our oxygen is keep changing. Example within 30 second sometime is 93, 95 then 96 and suddenly become 94 again? After take a breath and relaks is become 95.. Is that normal doctor?

    • @Oxygenconcentratorstore
      @Oxygenconcentratorstore  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Keep the pulse oximeter on for 30 seconds for the reading to stabilize. The SpO2% may go up and down depending on what activity you are performing. Try pursed lip breathing for it to improve. If your saturation is less than 95% in multiple readings, then please contact your physician.

    Hi,
    My father is 58 years old with no health conditions(except gastric issues). He has no Covid symptoms and is healthy. Just because we bought an oximeter, we have been checking his oxygen saturation levels using pulse oximeter everyday for 45 days. The range varies from between 92 and 96. Is this normal?
    He has no breathing issues and is exercising well too.

    • @Oxygenconcentratorstore

      Like thermometers, some pulse oximeters take time to give correct reading. Wait for a minute until the SpO2% number stabilizes.
