So they can eat a very hot and spicy food basically. Hotpot is also a speciality of south china mostly in sichuan. And here they add chilies in the hotpot. Hotpot is basically eaten by a family gatherings. They all gather and sit around a table and eat hotpot. Here they add vegetables, meat, sauce everything. And obviously chili. As a sichuanese Xiao Zhan also can eat spicy food. But after living in Beijing about 5 years i think, the capability of eating spice became low for him 😂 They add spice in every food. They love to eat spicy noodles also. As a Indian I can understand the love for spice. We can also add spice in our cookings. We use sichuanese sauce also. In noodles or chawmian.
