I always slide the coil to the side and position the other foot all the way to the opposite side.. I usually put a sandbag on it as well because People will move their foot back over towards the other one without thinking about it. How about a video about doing the foot in the head coil? I have seen lots of techs struggle with this because the images come up differently.
Hi if you position a patient head first and use flexi coil images are usually upside down. I do GA on paeds so have to adapt. Do you think if I chose option feet first it will work although is positioned head first.
Appreciate your work, wish there were videos like these but for Philips MRIs. I enjoy hearing about other people experience and diagnostic protocols but having no familiarity with Siemens kind of makes it hard to translate :/
@@Nguyen_MRI I though the same but in other machines , like Phillips or GE, images are more "bright" and , for example, in knee, meniscus and sinovial fluid have a good contraste and are brigther than siemmens images. Do you think by modificating Tx/Rx scale are a good option o gives a "false" imagen quaility?
You correct. Looks different from scanner to scanner. Increasing the txrx scale will brighten this. It's just window leveling more to say. For some exams i do increase this a bit to make it brighter and better to look at. Please do retro recon and check the window level values. 👍
Thank you for sharing those details, very very important. The specific coil is very very good and for the patient also.
Very informative as always thank you bac for sharing👍
@@tosimatom.9411 thanks for taking the time to watch and give me a comment. Much appreciated ☺️

hello mate, ive got a quesiton. What would you do to increase CNR/brightness for T1 images for siemmens 1.5t lika Sola or Altea?
that would be TR and TE.
