i know conventions are a whole other beast but lots of cards shops round me just see pokemon players as easy marks or something and have no investment in their relationships w customers, i rlly appreciate you taking the time to look through and compliment ppl’s collections who just come to show you, collecting is awesome but it’s even more awesome when you are free to share it with others and you are great at encouraging both. thank you
I agree with this comment for the most part. Not a lot of people in our own day to day travels when collecting really mention the appreciation of true collecting. It’s all about what’s worth more. Honestly the world is moving too fast due to social media. Everyone wants the best and most expensive, or talk about others who have those things. I like a slower life. Appreciate it more that way.
I just mentioned the same thing in one of Rudy's comment sections on a comment someone had said. Things are moving too fast. Everything is about the line charts and candle sticks. But really, those are the losers. The winner have patience and genuinely enjoy collecting, trading, and selling. My mom always taught me "good things come to those who wait" over and over again. Let it go up and down. After a few years, it's going to automatically be worth more anyways. I collect Pokemon primarily to just trade and sell to fund my Magic card addiction lol. But that doesn't take away from my enjoyment of the collecting and interactional process of the whole thing. Which is why I do it! And I just sell at whatever fair market price is. It's not about profit for me, its just about getting a bit of my money back on a box so I can try again to see if I can pull what I REALLY wanted.
@RancorousSea what a sad, lonely outlook on a hobby you obviously have no interest in. What are you even doing here? No one is forcing you to watch these videos or partake in card collecting.
I am really not commenting on any youtube videos, but you seem to be such a genuine good person, that I just wanted you to know that. I admire your talking to the kids on a mature level and giving away cards they like. Please stay just like you are, you are a wonderful human being.

I just read a news article about you and how you light up so many kids days at these collectors events and I had to come subscribe! I have to say as a mom, I’m very proud of you! It’s like Coop came from the late 90’s. Down to earth. Into the true collecting but still making money. It’s the wholesome interactions like these where you wish the world didn’t revolve around money and everyone’s needs were met without having to struggle. So we can have these great times with each other a lot more.

Coop, I really admire the energy you give to everyone you interact with at these shows. Authentic to you and it comes across, it's what we're all drawn to and is a big reason your channel is growing and it's so deserved. You inspire me to be a bit kinder and more generous man!

Also amazing manners form these kids! Thanks a lot and keep having fun with the hobby, just like me :D
Its so nice seeing someone who doesn’t care primarily on the money aspect of it, so many vendors nowadays shoo away people who don’t have monetary value, Coop sees people for who they are whether it be collecting or buying he just wants to make people happy! Keep it up Coop

You're not a celebrity at all. You are just a fantastic, good, genuine human. The world needs tens of thousands more of you. I need to be more like you TBH. Keep being such an honest human. I strive to be like you!
That one kid that asked for $10 for his card and ran off needs to learn some manners geez, parents please teach your kids to say please and thank you, it’s not hard.
Hi Coop. I don't collect and know nothing of collecting but i subscribed to you. The reason is that I love your interaction with your customers, your passion for your trade and the passion you instill in the kids who come to you. Your generosity with the kids is genuine and the fact that you go out of your way to deal fairly with all your customers. I wish you every success
Also just to add it’s awesome to see so many customers returning like they due and the kids at the beginning is nice it’s great to see young collectors with such passion and excitement like everyone had when Pokemon first came out including the tv show
Thanks for being so charitable and uplifting Coop! I collected cards myself when I was younger, some of my best memories. This is just a small gift for you to keep going Take care!
If you look at the whole convention/event as a board game like Monopoly, Coop is the tile with GO collect money/card(s). Thank you Coop for such great content!
I am a fan of your kindness Coops, keep watching your videos just to see how you spread love to everyone, you take your time with the kids and that interaction is amazing, your parents should be proud. Keep on doing your stuff and good things are going your way.
I always wonder what's on your table Coop so its nice to see it in the opening video! Also, glad you kept Wyatt's drawing!!! You should ask him to sign it and frame it! 😁
In your newer videos you sometimes say you are tying to get better at closing the deal with a handshake… but the handshake at 44:02 was one of the best I’ve ever seen!
You're a really cool dude man. Seeing that girl with the pikachu shirt just hang out at your table and chat it up with some other guests with you was so tight. Are you an uncle or a dad? I hope you are because you'd be a great role model in some child's life man. Keep it up dawggy you're inspiring as fuck.

Another great video Coop! You motivated me to get back to collecting after 15 years. Getting started with Temporal Forces and seeing where that takes me.

It makes me so happy every time you try to give away something for free, and they refuse to to go without paying. Great community of people.
