I worked on one of these a couple months back, and yeah. It’s SMALL inside. Even with the seat all the way back I could barely fit behind the wheel. And for its weight, it weighs around the same as my 2016 Mazda cx5 which gives me more legroom and shoulder room. I’m glad Mazda got Toyotas hybrid system so my next car will be the cx50 hybrid whenever my cx5 dies.
Sofyan, They remembered to 'swap in' the more powerful Prius powertrain but they forgot to swap in the longer wheelbase that comes with the Prius. 🤨 If you have over $40K to spend on a luxurious product from Toyota Motor Corporation, a spacious Crown Signia is a much better value.
Honestly Toyota interiors are nice enough now where I doubt anyone would choose the “nicer” version. This is the only model in the lineup that I don’t think makes any sense.
It doesn't make sense if you live where the roads and parking spaces are huge. (USA/Canada/Australia) If you have been to France, Italy or Japan, it would make perfect sense. It is easy to park, it is a nice ride on the motorway and holds enough for the target market (DINKS)
@@jngobngo my point is that since the fuel tank is so small, a shopper can’t drive as far as they think they could since it’s a hybrid. Fuel tank size is often something people don’t pay attention to. They just look at fuel economy estimates.

This luxury SUV has some issues. It doesn't have full LED turn signals, hood struts, or remote start, and it only has 196 horsepower. I think it should have at least 250 horsepower. Even a Dodge Hornet has better features. Also, it could be higher off the ground to compete with the Volvo XC40, BMW X1, Mercedes GLA, and Audi Q3. At least this has ventilated seats unlike its rivals

OMG; get the Corolla Cross XSE, and add in the sound system and adaptive headlights. Use the $$ you save to go have some fun! Unless you need a fancier interior....? You will have the same amount of power, a higher ground clearance, more legroom in the driver's seat, etc, etc.
I ll take my residual trade in value anyday on the UX verses any others mentioned. There is more storage bins in the rear and the hold button under the EV button is great it enables you to sit at a light and take foot off the break .The hold button is fantadtic .
price and MPG is too close to NX350h. problem with latest LEXUS is cost cutting everywhere. interior is really a let down in UX and overall cheaper "looking" compared to NX which I ended up buying. UX has pretty good discounts if one must have a Lexus.
The driver/passsenger compartment is SO intrusive, which makes the car feel extra tight. If they moved it a couple inches forward, that would really open things up.
I'll take my 2024 Audi Q3 over this upgraded UX anytime when talking luxury comparable vehicles... Same pricing, more HP, no run flat tires, spare tire, real leather, full led lights, much more space overall, fits 4 adults, better ground clearance, etc. Yeah its not a hybrid but I'm getting 32mpg on the highway which is good enough to not have to deal, maintenance wise, with a hybrid system, electric motors, etc

I see a lot of them on the road in SoCal so it does have a market. Remember the Lexus 200h? It was a little five door hatch? I still see lots of those and I think many people weren’t pleased with they were discontinued. That’s who this car is for.

Oddly enough, although it feels the most like Toyota, some of the door paneling clips are sturdier in my friends than in the RX. So it’s odd because the materials are Toyota but the build is less like Toyota than its higher priced mother.
