squid does work pretty well, but it could be advised to only use 1 because negative effects do not stack unless you cycle them but that isn't effective for DPS with most pets against bosses
I found a glitch where you don’t kill boss but get it low and let biome change you will get the Chet’s and pet but no Xperia but the pet will last another biome example octo the octo can last till end of Forrest biome, not that usefull since you won’t get age but if you have max age already and you need tons of time to tame do it. But best way to get them is to server hop.
preferable to go for as much as you can unless you are running out of time, or need to go through them quickly with server hopping like I am alternatively, you could follow the genie guide to get 30 unbreaks and then use all of them for 150 octos with the strategy from this video (though you want to have friends if you plan to do this)
preferable to use something else for the best rates, at least overall (which is why it may not be included for the optimal rates when it comes to forest bosses only)
You always do 60% Xd when I tame pets I go for 60 or above also it has chance to fail but getting to 78 is so hard and you need mega pro luck I never gotten over 70 b4, pro tutorial will use this to tame turkey

infesting works well ngl, maybe test both pets and see which is one works the best
stick with infesting squid isent very good for bosses even if it counter it
Infesting if you talk about 2/3 will also be good against dragons so having them gives you an advantage since you get 3/4 bosses a season alone
