I didn’t want to interfere with any load or gear in the back of the kayak. I wanted something that could maneuver with the steering of the outboard. I’ve seen hard tubes or pole like segments but would get in the way of the space in the back well. Once everything is finalized I can clean up the lines to mounting positions. Maybe with carabiners or mounting clips just to keep them strapped down.
@@Landovr289 yea i used star board. Local guy has a shop that uses the material. He sells scrap pieces cheap so I went that route. I think it’s a little cheaper. I think Coosa has the fiberglass strands in it right?
Also why not just go in straight line back.from Seat to shifter ?

Can u give some pics or dimension of transom. Size. Thickness of starboard ?
Need to know what the cable steering you bought planning to build a rep of this for myself
I bought a SeaStar Control Cable 3300 XTREME Series 9ft Teleflex.
Where did you get your black back plate that your motor sits on?
When you have the engine mounted how do you get that thing into the water?
All the controls are mounted to the seat, engine and seat is mounted last after loading into water.
