- Welcome back to another video! The day has finally come! Icon of the Seas, the worlds LARGEST cruise ship, makes her grand entrance into the Port of Miami! This was an unbelievable experience and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it! I hope you enjoy this video!

I was on the Scarlet Lady (Virgin Voyages) on this day. We got a nice view of her as we sailed out of the port that evening. She is HUGE!

incredible and beautiful, I'm glad that you were the first to see it entering Miami. I want to see the video of the departure and this year you also have the utopia as a novelty. I have seen three cruises, the icon the MSC Meraviglia and the third was a virgin. Which one was it? In the video you haven't put the name.

It was stunning when she first appeared…huge, stately, and grandiose. Unfortunately I won’t be able to sail on her, but I am looking forward to her sister ship..Star of the Seas in 2025 or 2026 sailing from Port Canaveral.

For some of us, bigger is not better, and biggest is scary. I’ll take a much smaller ship anytime. Just not interested in a floating city, no matter how many bells and whistles.

The Icon OTS is now the new mother of all the ugliest ships ever built. This ship is just a mess and a quagmire of opposing lines, bulges and appendages. If RCL think their main market are 5 year old's then they may just have got away with it, but I can assure them that a whole cashed up gaggle of near retirees or retirees would not go near this ship under any circumstances. Another example of a major company completely missing it's target market. Should have been called the Eyesore of the Seas.
….mmmm…….. did the designers ever stand back and check out just what a hideously ugly monstrosity it would be when completed 🤮

That ship looks *BIG* . It feels like looking at a larger container ship that is close to fully loaded.
Its like a moving neighborhood with skyscrapers, although it still looks small in the middle of the ocean!
The lack of taste prodly displayed by so many here in the comment section by calling this thing "beautiful" is concerning to say the least. This ship (if i can even call it that) has not just ugly design. It has no aesthetic design at all. It's designed in a purley utilitarian way where nothing has a coherent aesthetics. To much is going on and everything is just added somehow and somewhere on top of something else without giving a second thought about how it will blend with its surroundings. Look at the dome for example: it doesn't fit or blend in with the rest of the ship. It looks like its separate thing that doesn't belong there.
This ship is the ultimate dystopian and consummarism nightmare. You just have to take one look at this giant floating commercial construct and you immediately know what kind of costumers this is supposed to attract: Fat Karens with their our of control kids that need to be put in an overstimulating environment like this ship because TikTok has reduced their attention span down to 10 seconds.

Those are the "Infinite Balcony" rooms. The window partially retracts .

Personally...hate the idea. lol I love my separate outdoor area from the main room. also, if the windows are open, is the Air conditioning still going to work? Doesn't the air usually shut off when the balcony door is open? I can see how some will like it, but seems like a LOT of rooms dedicated to that. Curious to hear some opinions.

I critique this as this icon of the seas can hold ten thousand people. How big is to big. The ship is definitely iconic. Right now I hear to expensive to get on. I hate heights but have done the rock wall halfway up. And sky dived. Maybe I could ha, ha walk on a bridge that disappears.

Well one thing is that you are sharing it with around 7600 people but on 5000ish passengers and again if you don’t appreciate cruising you don’t have to say anything and keep your opinions to yourself cause people have different choices and to call people insane to too far.
I am also no fan of a trip on a cruise ship (well, maybe i will try it one day) but there is no reason to try to ruin the fun of people who enjoy trips on cruise ships…
It's not ever at maximum capacity but even with near capacity, you're not around that much people every minute of every day. I've been on plenty of cruises and they're really fun. Besides, why not? You get to be on a ship that's double in size of the famous titanic with so much safety features that makes the whole thing quite an experience. It's unforgettable. Memorable

Amazing size,but forgive this comment. Not a very beautiful shop. To me it looks like someone made a hotel into a gumball machine. Older transatlantic liners much prettier. Just my opinion
How the hell does something that heavy float... I know water displacement and buoyancy.. it just mind-boggling to me.
The stern of this ship is hideous. They could have sloped it more and made it 1000x better looking. I think Wonder of the Seas is much cooler aesthetically.
