As a person who trades this strategy, i can confirm it works.Only for me i enter on the 5m and only trade within the LD & NY killzones. That .62 zone of the fibb is magical honestly. You add bias to this strategy you become unstoppable as long as you are good at getting the correct bias.

@markmithi2628 I’m still new to ote and would like some feedback from you. I also enter often on 5m but also 15m and the hourly sometimes. I use a fix 2r from that 0.62% to tp, breakeven after it breaks the h/l. I definitely also believe that the bias is the most important thing. Would you like to share your rules like do you use a fix rr, and do you do break even at any point? Have you backtested this and found your win rate %? What times are you trading within? If you could make an in depth video that would help tremendously please

Nice setup that gives a lot of entries before the NYSE open. That gives a nice tight time window to focus on. I can see a few learning curve parts to this, i.e. identifying a valid liquidity raid, pair selection, and determining the fib location. Would be awesome to see you breakdown multiple pairs from a single session to study, covering non trades, losses and wins from a single day.

Sometimes I feel like jumping off a cliff due to the lack of guidance its hard to tell if its probabilities or if im just doing it wrong.I love trading, learning, traveling and personal growth and trading is the only career that can affprd me the time to do all of these things like make music, write books, speak and empower people ,be limitless.

Hi Casper! Thanks for another great video. I want to make sure I am understanding how to anchor the fib correctly. The logic seems to be to anchor the fib from the swing hi/low of the Liquidity Grab to the first swing low/high that forms after the displacement. However this creates a few questions for me:
    1. USDCAD Ex: Why not anchor the fib to the high of 7:30 candle?
    2. GBPUSD Ex: Why not anchor fib on swing high of 6:15 candle?
    3. NZDUSD Ex: Why not anchor the fib at the high that took BSL (4:45 candle)?

@@caspersmc You dont need to explain anything. Just draw the fib very nice and slowly to show every move you do. In the video you did it so fast, it was in less than a split second. So people, myself included, are puzzled how to really do it. What's the rush? If you are teaching you need to do things slowly. In my case, even the repetitive replaying of the video did not help me understand how you apply the fib. Remember, you are teaching, and not showing off.

It appears the 1st large factor is how to determine the liquidity raid which helps to determine the trade direction. If people know how to identify that, then the strategy is very simple otherwise it may not be for some. That probably would have been helpful to add since its a key component of this method being simple. Solid video either way.

That’s how you know institutional traders are involved because they have the means to provide liquidity & move the markets with large order flow in what ever direction they will make money on. So as you can see in his examples of when price displaces higher you’ll see that a new low was created that broke a previous low next to it but instead of heading lower price formed a wick & every other candle after that didn’t close below that newly formed low showed a willingness to head higher thus emphasizing that institutional traders may be involved & then that’s confirmed with the displacement that forms a new high breaking the previous high which is also a market structure shift

Dam this is cool. You have made a mechanical strategy using ICT's daily profile. London tends to be opposed to the "real" move for the day. This cuts out the fluff and aims for the big move of the day. Love it, I might just ditch my strat for this one. My strat makes my head hurt. And I won't need to watch the chart like a hawk. Off to back test!

Quite insightful and easy to grasp information. It is more or less the ICT mentorship 2022 model. I have been having a challenge to get into trades at the most probable and low risk points of entry due to coupling of PD arrays. Thank you for this. I have to ask? What are the things that might make this strategy not to play out? I feel many new developing traders such as myself have a problem in understanding why a certain entry doesn't pan out. FROM MISTAKES WE LEARN. This can also be quite insightful.

Just wanted to mention, I've executed my first trade from this strategy on EURUSD and absolutely bossed it off the .79 and hit just over 3R. I entered a little later just to confirm otherwise it would have been an easy 4R.
My backtesting prior showed an incredible win rate on this. I love it. I think I'm inclined to sit this among my main strategies alongside a swing trade strategy that I've created.

    • @jays.6829
      @jays.6829 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hey man, probably a bit late but still an answer tho. The high you've mentioned probably would have worked too since the wick that enters us in the trade gets pretty deep into the FVG to rebalance. This is a pretty mechanical strategy and after reading some comments from people that have experience in testing or trading this strategy, there is no exact "way to go", you can modify this strategy by a bit so it works better for you, but still respecting it's main framework is essential. For me personally, I would have taken the trade you have mentioned with the high at 7.30am. But again: That is why we have to backtest it, so we can see what works and what does not

  • @Slycoop

This is beautiful, thank you. It's funny I've always wanted to use the raid, break, OTE as my main set up. I've also always noticed that halfway from the 1 to the 1.5 seems to be the safe bet on TP. You read my mind in a lot of ways but simplified it in a way I couldn't. It makes me wonder though if I should take this on days against my daily premise too or high impact news days. I won't be able to stop myself looking at the higher time frames and making a daily premise or letting weekly power of 3 influence me.

Wednesday : Liq raid, NO entry due to high impact news
Thursday : Liq Raid, Extremely precise entry to the dot, TP hit ✅
