Eureka Super Club is one of the largest Dance Clubs in Asia and has opened and closed its doors continuously since its grand opening, now there is a For Sale sign in the window. This club is modern and has all the features to be popular but never reached the success its owner had hoped for.
There is another bar on Fields Avenue that is closed, this is only a temporary close due to a full remodel and they hope to open in one month. Come see what bar I am talking about and where it is located.
Anne and I also stop and talk to a lot of our friends around town, come with us...

Hard to see those flashy clubs being able to survive when 'walking street' is so run down. I mean they are not going to attract people with all the broken footpaths and trash every where.
Even in Pattaya everything's all building up it looks like a new city expanded Beach nice and clean hardly any rubbish why can't Angeles City be like that. You clean the place and have more places to eat you might get more tourists people don't want to go to a run down Walking Street. As for me I will still go to Angeles City because I love it there and the people it does need doing up it needs more people and it needs advertising on television and don't put things up to more expensive you keep it reasonably cheap people go there.
@@markytarbins4037 That is the difference between Thailand and Philippines. Government in Thailand seems to care a bit more about improving infrastructure and doing everything they can to draw in tourists. Philippines government ... well ... yeah.
I miss walking around Angeles during the day and hanging with the locals. Was there last in October 2022. Some real genuine people here and there. And the open bar that's getting the reno is one of my favourite drinking holes. Enjoyed your video.
if im having an off day, all i have to do is a little walk and talk with some of the locals here and my day totally changes for the better 👍😃 Filipinos have that affect on me, and others i’m sure 🫶

God! I was there at Clark 82-86. AC was jumping and bars were all over the place. Looks like a ghost town now!
Cut back on the carbs, sugar, and fried foods. You'll be okay. A plate of white rice and fried fish or chicken is not good. Bubble Tea and Soft Drinks forget about them. Get any and all blood work before you come to the PI. I would spend 1 month in Thailand getting all the checkups I could get before I retire in the Philippines. The Philippines is last in Medical Tourism. Thailand is number one for Medical Tourism. Please feel free to take your pick.
Yeah but unless youre already having some kind of a chronic issue it doesnt seem necessary. Thailand is just a quick flight from PH if something crazy is needed.

@@ITech2005 Wrong Sir. You don't wait until it happens. You try to prevent it from happening in the first place. Go to Thailand and get the full body checkups to tell you if something needs to be done or corrected.
@@tlesta666 Just about every Medical Center in Thailand has Physical Checkups for the age of the person. Bangkok Medical Hospital is one to start with. Good luck.
@@TitoGeorgeTravel Read my post again. I never said anything about skipping checkups. I said that unless you already have a chronic condition that will require you to live virtually down the street from a 5 star hospital you dont need to choose based on medical care. If someone prefers PH they can live there full time and hop a short flight to Thailand for an annual checkup, then party and go home. All im saying is that the medical stuff isnt as big a deal as youre making it. Plenty of older expats are retired in PH and making it work.

Most clubs are empty all over Angeles. They're not fun anymore. No atmosphere.

I was there in Feb/Mar when it opened n had some Korean celebrities doing the opening
personal the biggest issue is the Koreans splashed alot of money bought out alot of the bars and then double the prices to all the drinks and barfines...also all the girls,mostly all only do short time...this killed the tourists coming there....only koreans coming now....90% ...the rest are Westerners ...saw this place open up with alot of song and dance and burned alot of money....bet they be upset now.....BUSTED

Let be real I was there last week walking street is dead! It stink like sewer there infrastructure is bad and everything is closing! Before covid it was busy been going there since 2014! It's not the same and it get old and boring quick! I dont see it the strip joint lasting much longer prices for a beer to buy is 350 pesos 6 usd! Just ingranance with the prices! Envy closed not a surprise eggs becon toast 15 a pop..Them clubs are only open cause Koreans got money to blow! Back 5 yeaes ago beers were 80 to 100 a pop! But each to their own they will learn the hard way most them places clubs they spend alot of money on and they tore up within a year! That y they flip names always most are living a pipe dream thinking they're going to make a good profit ..oh well each on their own their money their life!

I am new subscriber I enjoy your vids you have a friendly personality and fun to see you interact with the locals. I was in AC a few weeks ago too bad our paths never crossed. I with the local government would put more money into improving the area as everything is rundown and not looking (or smelling) too great. Lots of poverty and beggars everywhere too it is a sad sight. I still had fun but don't think I could live in Philippines full time just visit once a year. I plan on moving to Thailand next year.

clubs are not surviving is a lack of tourism not enough people all over the world. Since the covid-19 has finished people just not flocking to Angeles City last year was the same just not enough people it felt weird when I was there last year was too quiet. The whole city used to be buzzing used to be full of people. Why don't the government do a tourism campine on TV advertising to get more people to Angela city and the Philippines. It needs to pick up it's getting worse and worse. I'll look at Pattaya now everything is building up and up more clubs more things to eat more everything but even again is not enough tourist. I'm hoping everything's going to pick up want the economy and the tourism how it used to be before 4 years ago.
yes covid definitely changed the World 👍 and places will change along with it, i believe those changes are happening now and it’s uncomfortable for a lot of people to accept… things happen for a reason so we’ll see what and where things go from here
The issue with that big club was noise . They shut down a couple of times to add more soundproofing but still got complaints.

The owner for club Euerka was Vice Ganda famous Filipino on the TV show called it's Show time. Ask your girlfriend who this guy is.

That little bar being remodeled was called Lainie's Tourist Hangout for many years. Probably the cheapest drinks anywhere on Fields.

Less and less tourist coming Philippines specially Angeles city cause their going to Thailand where it's a lot cleaner and they don't give tourist a hard time at the airport

2nd Giant Dance nightclub to close. They dont know how to run a nightclub. They think keep doing drag shows and model shows going to keep the place open. Make it Foriegner friendly with hiphop and EDM music stop with all the shows get a vibe going in there.

100% fact! Us old expats are on a budget, plus who over 60 wants a Disco at 1am? We want happy hours 5 to 8, cheap food , low 1500 barfines, a good set of lips and melatonin.
@stevehoward8014 ive been out of the bar scene for many years and dont miss it, i like seeing the places but then reality sets in that id only be able to handle it for a few minutes; give me a dive bar with a pool table and some mellow tunes playing and id happy as a lark

Huge clubs like that open and close here in Toronto too but my friend who is uumm a shifty character told me that this is how money laundering is done so I don't know for sure but it seems logical

Super nice club. Was it busy the few times it was open? Wondering how many dance clubs the city can support. Selling real estate is a known way to clean peso/dollar/yuan/won. Some actress was an investor I heard. Wonder if she has a sponsor.
