I like that you are an omnivorous reader and your interest in character study is especially an interesting approach. As far as YA and fantasy are concerned, are you interested in these categories because they appeal to you or because a lot of Booktubers like YA and fantasy? You should ultimately read what appeals to you and not based your reading heavily on popular opinion. I saw that you filmed this last year, but you did release a newer video just a little bit ago. I am going to subscribe to you and I want to follow you on your Booktube journey, but I really want you to have a good time in this community and be confident. We are happy to have you on board and you are valued just for who you are. I would like to read some more Virginia Woolf novels myself. hi josh! I was introduced to YA fantasy because its talked over everywhere on booktube and booktok. The genre is definitely exciting and i love reading them from time to time. But after reading a few popular YAs i also found that my interests don't particularly align with the mainstream booktube. So i will just be focusing on the books i personally find joy reading 🤗 i really appreciate your comment! thank you for the wishes and such a warm welcome!!
YA and fantasy are definitely brought up frequently on both Booktube and Booktok and I would say you hear a lot about it on Bookstagram and on general book blogs as well. I definitely encourage you to concentrate on the books that you personally find joy in reading. I am having a good time watching your videos! :)
