Just got back from Florida, we did the ballon Friday night and it was amazing! it was about $30pp for about 10 mins, you get incredible views and a truly unique date night experience
@kevelite862 Sounds like an awesome date night! I hope I can convince Mr. McD to do it eventually - I’m still a bit nervous about the height aspect of it but I bet the views make it worth it! 💜
I completely disagree with air heart. I work hard for my money and if service is awful I wouldn’t go back. I am not a huge foodie person so if the food is okay but the service is great, we go back. Eating out is a social aspect and I enjoy talking to bartenders and services. But if you ignore me or are a wet rag with amazing food, I wouldn’t be back. you’re in Disney where everyone is in a Mickey shirt and flip flops. So that shouldn’t be a consideration unless there is a dress code. We are going down mid November and planning a drinks around the springs day and I removed Enzo’s. Thanks.
I'm just gonna throw this out there.. if you want to get treated nicely, you dress the part. It's not a mcdonalds. I get you're on vacation and all.. but if you know the place acts a bit highbrow.. and you show up in your mickey mouse tie dye.. well, that could have something to do with how you're being served. I don't know this place at all.. just going off what I saw and what you said. But maybe they're expecting the clientele to look the part. And if they have other patrons who look like they have a fatter wallet.. you may be getting less attention for that simple reason. Idk.. they could just be complete asshats too. Dunno. But you could run an experiment and go back in some spiffy duds and see if they treat you better.
I do like your idea of dressing like it's the Oscars to see if we get better service, but I also don't feel it's necessary. First, it's not like we were there at night during formal dinner hours. It was happy hour and the other clientele looked like us. We were also there for a pumpkin Halloween drink, which doesn't usually mean high brow. This is Disney Springs after all, so Mickey shirts are pretty standard. It's also Florida, which adds another layer of informality. That said, the rest of the bar didn't look like they were getting a better experience either. Second, we are pretty regular at Springs and we know where you might want to dress a little more formal versus places where you don't have to worry about it. The Edison, Paddlefish and Jaleo come to mind. But even in those places, and even when The Edison had a stongly advised dress code, we did and do get great service wearing things akin to Crocs and Mickey shirts. Bottom line, they want my money. I shouldn't have to act how they want me to act. They should act like they deserve what I am paying them. They did not do this. After multiple visits dressed casually and not so casual, they failed to deliver on decency. So feel free to do the experiment, but I think your asshat conclusion is closer to the mark. :)
@@asiamommi yeah.. I saw a mix.. all I'm suggesting is, maybe those in a collared shirt and something a bit more.. business casual.. gets better service. And I'm not saying that's how it SHOULD be.. I"m just wondering if it's that kind of place. Idk.

It's Disney Springs, not Midtown Manhattan. You saw how the other patrons were dressed, right?
