Okay, so this one was a blast to make, I revised the script about 3 times to get the pacing and tone the way I wanted it. I ended up loving the soft melancholic interplay between Hope, temptation, and acceptance. There’s a certain softness to it that made the Character of the Listener feel a touch more alive. I love the idea that the elders caught on to the fact that every time a human comes to the village an elf falls madly in love with them. So at this point they're just saying "No more humans, they're not allowed here anymore."
Like, hmmm, maybe not all humans are bad? Maybe the elders are kinda running a little cult??? 🤔 Ya, know, just some food for thought for our elven captive.
I can already see our inevitable journey through the dark forest together: “Are you serious? Who on Earth taught you to cut radishes that way?! Don’t tell me humans can’t even properly prepare food.” “A human’s lack of self-preservation is astonishing. I think I brought up the dangers of that specific type of moss 3 TIMES” “You know, HUE- oh sorry… human.”
Please do make a sequel! This character intrigues me like no other you've made (except possibly Bastianus and Briar). His adorable pronunciation of hue-MAN, his wariness at first to our kindness, and the way he said that he preferred we not know whether to be insulted at being compared to starlight reflecting off a puddle- I love him, and I hope we get the chance to show him that humans aren't all bad, and I hope he gets to show us more about elves! (and I kind of want to yell at the captain for calling him a knife-eared fae mongrel and hitting him with his pommel AFTER he'd already been captured. Come on, people.)
This character is so beautifully portrayed! The range of emotions, the anger/sadness/softness, and the lovely touch of soft voicing through the whole thing-- this is so well done! Thanks so much for sharing :)

Facts. I love how he has so many different storylines. And the upload timing is nice and frequent. The only issue is with so many stories being continued, others are pushed off for a bit. For example: It’s almost been a year since Hollow last updated the Helmsley series.

It puts me on edge and I can't concentrate on the story for more than maybe 10 seconds at a time. Love the content Hollow puts out, but I can't cope with this switcheroo. Maybe I will try the next audio.
