- PLEASE SHARE IF YOU LIKE IT, MUCH MORE TO COME! From the Experience & Innocence Tour at the United Center in Chicago in 4K with HQ Audio. Note: This was a most challenging shoot. The floor was packed, and I couldn't see much for several songs, but I grabbed what I could, but some songs from the e-stage are audio only.

There are U2 classics and there are U2 masterpieces. The entire 'Achtung Baby' album is a masterpiece. They need to perform the rest of these songs more often, not just the popular one (pun intended.)
By far their best album.....an "Achtung Baby" tour would be incredible
Cruel is the one weak song on that album....I'm not sure they ever played that one live either.... the Joshua Tree hasn't one weak song on it... however in the round I'm still unsure which is the better Album.....after many years listening to the Joshua tree I still think all the hits from it are brilliant as well as classic live tunes like exit, bullet the blue sky and in god's country but now I rate Red Hill mining town and one tree hill are as the best two tracks on that album...... My favourite tunes on achtung baby in rank from first to last are Ultraviolet Ray, Zoo Station, The Fly, Until the end of the world, Acrobat, Even Better than the real thing, Whose gonna ride your wild horses, One, Tryin to throw..., love is blindness, Mysterious Ways, Cruel....I used to hate mysterious ways with a venom especially when it became a hit and was on the radio non stop but I've grown to like it allot more over the years...it still ranks as my third least liked tune on the album but I've grown to like it and also I've now been able to embrace the depressing lyrics and dark musicality of "love is blindness" I like the song...but as I say the other first songs in my list are so so much better ....I still think "Cruel" is one of the worst songs U2 ever did....they should have put a tune like "girl with the spinning head" on the album instead.....or even the wonderful instrumental b-side to the Fly single..."Alex descends into hell for a bottle of milk" (is this "Alex" based on the "A Clockwork Orange" character)
It's such a pity that they never played this live on the Zoo TV tour when the band was at it's cocky brash most confident swagger...

I really wish they would do a ZOO TV 20th Anniversary Tour for Achtung Baby, celebrating this while fantastic era. Can you juat imagine how incredible that would be...? After all the Covid Madness, to get to go out and celebrate Art, Freedom, & bring people back together again? That is what fans want.
It will be 30 years ago now AB and zoo tv tour was in 1991 and 1992 the first time I seen them on tour that year public enemy opened up for them . Good times good times.

I have seen concerts from U2 in ZOO TV tour in 1992, pop tour 1999, elevation 2001, vertigo, 360, joshua tree tour, an they never played acrobat alive... im pissing in my pants rigth now
Yes, U2 had never performed Acrobat live until they played it at the first night of the Experience + Innocence Tour at Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 2, 2018.
Perfect fit with the city of Chicago. The sound and the lyrics represent well the tension of this violent and dangerous city.

Acrobat was glossed over by me when the album dropped, of course I went straight to the singles released. But once I got it together I appreciate this 💎 of a song from this great album and Acrobat is in my top ten U2 songs.

Because album so great, one songs outshadowed others. Acrobat was the intital setlist of the ZOO TV tour, but didn't make the cut.

Nice! Awesome song, awesome album, their best album, no doubt. It's on it own. Some comments on here that So Cruel wasn't so good. My take, it was just a different tempo to a lot of that album, but I liked that. I get to that song on the album and I relax hearing that rhythm bass, sure it wasn't the best on the album but it's still a very good song and I'm glad it's on their. Achtung Baby is one of my Desert Island discs. Should they do an Achtung Baby tour? They did that in 1992, but I'd be first in line if they did it again! Get the shades and peroxide at the ready :)

Never really liked Acrobat on the album, but live on this tour I've really come to love it. Great transition into it too, the social commentary on "the truth is dead" transitioned really well into "fear the enemy." The SOE tour is fantastic

Such a pity they never played this on the early to mid 91 92 Zoo TV tours when the band was at its most confident cocky and arrogant...and bono wore that leather suit and wraparound fly shades...and of course changed from the fly character to the Mr McPhisto during each concert

I kinda like it that they didn't play it, I don't think they would get it right... Took 30 years and three tours for them to get Wild Horses right... Imagine Acrobat

This is one of their best songs. Bono should cut the theatrics. People love U2 for their earnestness not camp or theatre. Bono doesn’t sing to match The Edge here at all it feels like he didn’t even try.

Glad Acrobat was finally allowed to join the other Achtung songs as a living child of a real concert. It was wrong not to allow it go to a ZOOTV show though. MacPhisto was my kind of Devil through the 90s but he is getting old because he fails to remember (publicly at least) his other old 'comrade' - George Iraq Bush: “I think we’ve got to cut through the shenanigans of political cartooning and see that some people can have different views and still be principled people.”

I don’t agree completely. Listen to their Ahimsa song; it’s one of their newest releases. I am an Indian, and I started becoming a huge fan from then on.
