They're also with the likes of Laura Bailey, Travis Willingham and Matt Mercer. Each one of them is a voice acting powerhouse in their own right and they've got all three of them.
This was the highlight of TGA game announcements for me. Will this be, like, a mix of a Telltale style adventure game and a management-style strategy game? It looks really interesting.
Trailer and animation style make it seem more like an upcoming tv show than a video game. And honestly, this is a premise that would totally work for a superhero animated series.
@@IcarusNadir You're right, his acting prowess is just so above anything they've done. Glad to see Moist is still willing to work with lower level talent!
At least from this trailer, the writing of this game seems fantastic. Rarely do we get this combo with these sort of simulation games, and for it all to be voiced at this high of a level? Super excited for this, and honestly, it's probably my superhero obsession that's fueling a good part of the excitement lol
This would make a great movie as well. Focusing on what goes on behind the scenes of super hero agencies while also going into the difficulties of dispatch and teamwork. I often work with the people in dispatch and it is a much tougher job than you think. Every emergency is different, you are the first person someone in an emergency talks to and you have to deal with with both jack*sses and people in immediate danger which can take a serious toll on your mental health. Also the protagonist seems very relatable. Most people have been there; feeling thankless in your job, working with people you don't always get along with, and all the while dealing with your own problems. I think this story has a lot of potential.
I was very interested when they said it was by former Telltale developers, but then I kept watching and I thought "wait is that Aaron Paul?" and I kept watching and thought "wait is that Jeffery Wright?" and now I'm hooked! And also the gameplay looks nice and the animations look amazing
Critical's character Sonar is 100% a reference to Sonar from Strong Female Protagonist, right? No way it isn't. And the "values" of the heroes being dispatched remind me of the Standard Gauging System from unOrdinary. Love to see references like this. :)
My problem with telltale games is that our choices rarely have any real consequences, the endings we get are only determined by the last minutes of our playtime
Music definitely makes this trailer even better, this groovy vibes is definitely what this setting needs, hope that there will be something like this in the actual game
Thank the lord the good writers and creatives (I assume) from those iconic Telltale games are able to express their talent with something that obviously reeks of unadulterated passion.
4 critical role voice actors, Aaron Paul, Jacksepticeye, and moistcr1tical!? Yes please I’m truly interested to see Charlie in a VA role to see what he brings I mean he has very good range. Overall this game looks amazing.
This looks like a really fun idea and the humor is on point (with just the right amount of character drama sprinkled in), I can see this turning into an actual cool superhero TV show or a movie, but I'll take a Telltale style game as well (I suppose this is the new studio these guys made after they left Telltale, hence the "some" in the trailer XD)
Goddamn! There were so many good trailers. But I think this is up there with Split Fiction for one of my personal faves. Especially because I may or may not be writing a My Hero Academia fanfiction where Izuku is kind of like a younger Mecha Man.
This looks great and I will play it if it’s priced well, but I have a feeling this is something I’d rather see in a movie or tv format, especially considering the art style.
Um....are we sure this isn't just another superhero tv similar to invinsible because with animation this smooth, this could easily be a tv show if you removed the gameplay
This actually looks way more impressive than it lets on.
This was a nice surprise
I agree dude. I hope the game is as good as it's trailer
I honestly think that’s the point
Yeah I'm genuinely amazed they were able to make the visuals this good alongside the seamless branching in choices.

We are so back!
@@jacksepticeye hi
Hi jack
JACKIEBOY MAN!!!
Potato bro!
Yo jack
i would never have thought of a day where moist critical and jackcepticeye are on a game with jesse pinkman

@@stuieman7709 WHAT
Thanks not buying this game then.
@168original7 So, wanna pirate it?
@168original7 what’s your problem
This is such a cool idea for a Super Hero story.
@@Play_Dreams yep
It seems like you can do a lot with that kind of idea to
Agreed! Would work great as a tv series too in my opinion
Graphics like Hifi Rush need more games like this design
It's art style not graphics but yes more games need to look like this, like this is indistinguishable from a high-budget animated show for me
Yes! I refuse to believe that realistic graphics are “peak” graphics! This stylized look is my favorite!
@@JamesTheFoxeArtGraphics is just what the game looks like, so yes, it is graphics.
I was literally thinking about this game but couldn’t remember the name thank you for this comment
It’s like the Teletale Invincible game we never got.
It even has more Invincible comic style of humour and dialogue, which is a plus.
Without the Invincible gore which is great
1:27 apparently thats jacksepticeye??
@@DeiDrei yep
i hear it lol
That's why it sounded like when he does one of the characters voices in Mouthwash
I can definitely hear it
2:13 MoistCritikal I'M FUCKING DIEING he actually sounds good
I did NOT catch that the first 2 times I saw the trailer lmaooo
I knew he sounded familiar
Gaming dying so bad gotta have dweeb streamers now to get sales😂✌️
reduced to working with annoying eceleb streamers lol
DYING
It's creative and it's polished high quality. It's what gamers say they want. I'm copping it.
This was the highlight of TGA game announcements for me. Will this be, like, a mix of a Telltale style adventure game and a management-style strategy game? It looks really interesting.
I zoned out and thought it was flat out a tv series because the animation is really freaking good.
Same! I can’t wait!
Cristopher cross finally getting his long deserved recognition
Trailer and animation style make it seem more like an upcoming tv show than a video game. And honestly, this is a premise that would totally work for a superhero animated series.
This trailer is impressive. Hopefully the game turns out well
Honestly can’t stop watching the trailer for the look of the game alone, but the structure and strategy intrigue me a ton, too!
Everyone better be talking about this! This is a milestone for sure
Aaron Paul, Jacksepticeye, and Moist Critical? This is the greatest video game cast of all time
First The Hunger Games and now Dispatch, Charlie winning TGA for Best Performer, locking it in.
Aaron Paul, jacksepticeye, and moist Jesus? Before gta 6? ID NEVER THOUGHT ID SEE THE DAY THANK YOU GOD FOR MAKING MIRACLES
This will be a 10/10 game if I can romance all of the characters. Especially the Moistcritikal bat.
@@HeppyHenry lmao
Not sure its a dating sim but yeah 10/10 if you can date moistcritikal bat
Matt Mercer, Travis Willingham AND Aaron Paul in the same game? Good god
And Moist critikal (Aka Charlie)
@TheDrWafers he's not in the same universe as them but it's funny that he's in there yes
And Jacksepticeye

unironically, one of the most interesting trailers at the Game Awards
This is how you make something original from stuff that already exists
Already exists?
@ dispatch games where send police and or help people deal with super natural occurrences and super hero parodies two types of media that exist
We get Christopher cross, Aaron Paul AND moistcritkal. Now my dad my uncle and myself all have something to bond over together
2:13 Charlieeeeeeeeeeeeee, i'm so happy lol
0:17 I love the little smoking wolf
for those wonder, song is "Christopher Cross - Ride Like the Wind"
This has a lot of potential. I’d love to see a Netflix show tie in (animated of course). Or games set in other cities.
Dispatch keeping the Yacht Rock fires alive. Christopher Cross' Ride the Wind was a good call for this trailer.
This is going to be really quite good I think
LOOKS PEAKKKKK
"My name's Beef, and I'm naked!"
Damn I want a series of this more than a game now.
Here to listen to that one line from the hospital worker from Hunger Games Mockingjay part 2. I heard he’s on the come up.
I enjoyed the telltales series during its prime. Minecraft storymode was particularly my favorite.
So I'll definitely enjoy this.
Until I saw Aaron Paul’s name, I swore up & down that George Clooney had stepped into the video game arena.
Game looks dope, too.
At least from this trailer, the writing of this game seems fantastic. Rarely do we get this combo with these sort of simulation games, and for it all to be voiced at this high of a level? Closest were going to get to a telltale game
@@ToBeKing u know wolf among us 2 is a thing right
This looks like a mash-up of 'This is the Police' and 'Persona', which I'm totally all in for.
Why Persona?
People who worked in Telltale??? I'M IN!!
This game looks really promising! It reminds me of "This is the Police" but with superheroes and less cynical.
Thought this was a tv show at first
Im surprised to hear this song ever be brought up. love the artist
Me too man, forgot to even pay attention to it as I was just bopping to the whole song in my head.

0:17 "Tales from the Borderlands (the first one)" lmao
Hi Fi rush vibes in both atmosphere and art direction. This one's gonna be special.

1:09 this is Clem right?! Or its laura bailey
Laura is at 1:12. Not sure who the blonde character is played by but it’d be cool if it’s Melissa Hutchinson (Clem)
1:55 idk why but she reminds me of vi from arcane
I doubt you’re the only one. Like the shot at 2:10 has some crazy Vi energy about it. Without a doubt she was an inspiration
My problem with telltale games is that our choices rarely have any real consequences, the endings we get are only determined by the last minutes of our playtime
This looks fun as hell and the fact that it’s a story game from some of the people from tell tale is just super exciting can’t wait to
Glad to see Karlach getting work after BG3
This the witcher and mafia were like the only games that excited me during the awards.
This game's charm and wit are already on full display and I'm sold entirely.
Nice bit of shade for specifying that they worked on the original Tales from the Borderlands.
Tales from the Borderlands is an amazing game. I hope this one will too
I can't believe they got their hands on the actor that was in the Hunger Games movies. It must be such an honor to work with Charlie
So much respect for the small note at 0:15
this game getting insta copped
This is a "grounded" take on superheroes I can get behind.
I feel Marvel and DC have been focused on realism for too long.
Dammit Serana you're STILL blocking the door...
I worked on this project last year. So exciting to finally see it animated!!!
Music definitely makes this trailer even better, this groovy vibes is definitely what this setting needs, hope that there will be something like this in the actual game
The “what hero do you send” part really gives me ‘this is the police’ vibes. Really excited
okay, this has to be the most random cast of voice actors put together in the history of gaming. and i'm all for it
"It doesn't matter what I made you for,This is what you are meant for"
"Want new games on day one? We got you"
This is the Police but in a hero version.
This game should be an animated series honestly! It looks amazing, I would definitely watch it 👌🏻
I have a similar story. I’m currently a dispatcher…. former deputy….. and I can’t wait to play this game. It looks incredibly fun!
Watched it because there was a mention of TWAU.
I'm loving this and at the same time lost hope for TWAU2.
This is the greatest gaming news of all time
Moist Critical is the bat I think
Well done Sherlock

Ok...this looks like more than the sum of its parts.
And the parts, individually, look awesome already
This is one of the games in the event that got my brain to actually think about it afterwards, it just spews personality
Those two kids, Laura Bailey and Travis Willingham.
Looks like fun. Telltale guys, nice style, fun concept... But the clincher was Beef at the end. Gotta love a doggo.

I've never played any of the games from this studio but I'm heavily invested in this.
I am more interested in managing a super hero team, that is the kind of mechanic that speaks to me.
