  • Here is a clip from a workshop I did in Houston Texas back in May of 2022.
    I taught the rhythm "Koredjuga", along with a solo technique passed down to me from Mahiri Fadimba Keita, by way of Mamady Keita, with some minor changes/add-ons 😏

    Dude, I watch Jure Pukl Broken Circles, Novo Mesto with Marko Chrnchtz, Immanuel Wilkins tiny desk and PhilaMoca...gawwd, if I had a nickel for every time I watch those !!! You are a huge inspiration. At 56 years old, I even went out and bought a practice pad/stand/drum throne! I was never a disciplined student, just a hack who jammed for fun. But now I have the first page of stick control and some triplet exercises taped to the wall and I sit there for hours! Keep it up !!!! Can't wait to meet you and see you play some day. Peace Brother!!!!

    bummer there is no bass boom

    more bass is more better
