Not one of my normal personal highlight videos but this moment from @Maximilian_Dood's Mario 64 stream had me laughing so hard it knocked me out of a bad depressed mental state and got me excited to edit.
This is the first thing I've edited on Davinci Resolve after having used VEGAS for a decade, so I'm sorry if some bits are a little janky. I'm still learning how the program works.
I highly recommend watching the full VOD of these streams, it's an experience.

I would personally agree, but I think Max quite likes the parenting life.
I dont know whats funnier: Max getting backseated by his wife, or how he dropped the baby off the cliff completely unprompted

Yeeting the child is just instinct at this point.
It’s almost taught by the level and the game physics: sliding and falling downward are key features to both the level in general and the specific puzzle of getting the baby to the penguin. After fighting so hard to reunite this family, it’s both instinctual and gratifying to teach this annoying brat of a bird a lesson in gravity.
He let the intrusive thoughts win 😂

In reality this 7 minute advantage took 30 minutes to complete. This whole stream was comedy gold.

I think picking up Mario 64 might've been one of the best decisions Max ever made, cause holy shit, this is amazing.
I would have assumed he already played it like a lot of had, but I forget most of his gaming time was done in the arcades.

I knew he was gonna have a hard time dealing with the baby penguin but not like this lol. It feels like a cartoon most of the time and he struggled with it so much that his wife, Jae Jae, had to step in and tell em what to do. The face he makes in this sections are hilarious. This was Comedy Gold.

Absolutely agreed on the cartoon bit. Watching his playthrough was so hilarious. Has to be one of the funniest Mario 64 playthroughs out there.
This is why I love Max. You have moments like this of almost an hour of suffering and struggling to complete a part of the game where its relatively simple... To him catching MIPS the bunny in a mere 4 seconds without any prior knowledge, baffling everyone watching.

Everybody knows this game is full of troll moments that the developers must still laugh up to this day but I swear to god Max's run was bonkers from what I've seen so far. I loved that Condor Star at Shifting Sand Land he grabbed at the perfect timing completly unware of what just happened! xD I love Max! Amazing video edit. This is pure comedy. Shine On!

At first, I didn't understand why people would make such a huge meme out of dropping the penguin off a cliff. I thought people were just invoking their gaming cruelty potential. After seeing Max get this Star, I'm a lot closer to understanding why.
