    That Westminster looks a lot like the little radio shack radios we'd get as kids as they were pretty cheap. I'd turn mine on at night when I went to bed using the little crystal earphone they always came with and of course I'd fall asleep with it on and wake up in the morning with a dead battery, lol.

      I like my eight transistor one.
      Oh, and by building an adapter these things will easily drive elecromagnetic earbuds/headphones!

    If you get that Channel Master radio working I bet it will perform quite well. I have an older one (The 6515) myself that takes 4 "C" batteries and when DXing it picks up stations like you wouldn't believe.

    These are all quite interesting. I used to buy two transistor radios for $1.99 each. They did not last long as little boys are quite hard on them and something always broke and it was time to buy another.

    The sound is very clear like the past days when theres no distotion like the wave of telefphons because nowdays no radio works because of distortoin of all frequecy in sky an electrecity wires
