Great tour of my hometown. Sorry Bolduc was closed. You will want a rain check on that. Grew up across the street from Mrs. Valle's home. Could tell you a few stories there. The cemetery was just down the street.
Mr Donze how old are you? My grandfather is Donald Boillot, age 89 or so. He grew up in St Genevieve. His mother was Irene Boillot (Grieshaber). He played football in high school, and served in the air force shortly after WW2.

In the window panes on the door there’s a face that looks like a slave it was the door where you was talking about the slave sealing him in a barrel .. look in one of the glass blow up the pic

I think your staying in the park where my cottage is... my white little cottage in the middle of 5 acres off South Gabouri... across the road is the tavern & a bridge between us... ha!
You were in my home state! But about as far from me as possible. Haha. You were in far southeast Missouri and I live in the far northwest part. But I’m glad you enjoyed Ste. Genevieve. I haven’t been there since high school. I need to get back there.
If you guys are still in the Missouri area your welcome to “camp” at our house while you see the mid -Missouri area! It’s a beautiful area to see.
My Hahn's came to that area in 1804 from NC.
We would shortcut through that cemetery every day going home from elementary and middle school at Valle.
