Maggie Valley is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed it, as usual. Hey Big T 👋. Hugs and kisses 🤗😘 to my man. ❤️ Missed ya'll saying the outro. We are Fridays Forever. Of course, we know who ya'll are. Have fun, be safe, and God Bless. ❤️
Thanks for visiting us again! It was nice to see the Welcome Center on the inside. I’ve never stopped to see it & I live here. We had 7 female elk in our yard last night. We live behind Cabbage Rose, halfway up the mountain. I’m the person that told you about the 2 goats on the mountain a couple years ago. I also suggested Haywood Smokehouse in Waynesville but I see you went to the one in Dillsboro. Just as good. Best sweet potato fries ever! Maggie Valley Restaurant is only open weekends right now. Help issues like everywhere else. This weekend is a BIG one for Maggie, Thunder In The Smokies. Hundreds if not thousands motorcycles bringing lots of welcome revenue to the Valley. Sure wish I’d run into you sometime.
I LOVE your your youtube channel. It is a joy to go with you two along the roads and stopping in at different place. It has been 30 years since I have been to the mountains. I live in the northeastern part of NC. I used to go to the mountains several times a year until I bought a farm and have to take of the animals. So that puts my to only day trips. I just might start looking for land up there in the mountains to move to. Thanks to you two.
Enjoyed your video. I am actually camping in in Stone Creek RV resort, and we went to butts on the creek went there on Thursday night, and it was good. Good food there burnt ends were delicious.
You two always have such interesting and enjoyable videos! Karen that shirt was a real bargain! Love it! Thanks for sharing the flea market! Can't wait for Part 2!
When you asked Dwight at the flea market what he had for sale, did he actually say “a bunch of junk?” Not to sure that’ll increase the profits 😂. Another great video. Safe travels!!
Mike and Karen you sure brought back some wonderful memories of Maggie Valley. Much has changed and some shops are still open. We ate at Captain Jack’s, Butts on the Creek. Food and atmosphere was great, bought my husband a cute tee shirt. We stayed at The Cozy Corner which was very inexpensive but..?? Took 3 visits to finally get the nerve to ride the lift to Ghost Town in the Sky. Recently watched on Video of what it looks like today. The person had permission to film, so sad. It’s truly a ghost town now! Bought a Maggie throw at Mountain Craft and numerous items at the Red Cabbage. I remember seeing Maggie in costume waving as the cars driving past. I feel a reverence to Maggie Valley and Gettysburg, Pa. Can’t explain it. Karen, I got my Rachel E. pursue directly from her. Love it! Big T is so adorable and a great traveler. I have a 7 pound red poodle and she’s 13. Definitely my companion and fur baby! God’s blessings shine on you both.
Maggie valley hasn't changed much besides ghost town in the sky closing and I think that snow tubing hill is close by or across from ghost town. Took my kids their 15 yrs ago to tube .😬how time goes by now they are grown .
Have y’all visited Waynesville. It has a really nice district that I’m sure you would enjoy. Didn’t look like April or may to me. Everything would be green
I used to live in Maggie Valley, it's a nice place to b from, but you don't want to live there, especially in the winter...In the summer it's a rain forrest, and I ride Harleys and that's not good for bikers
That’s only from a bike perspective. Four seasons, 3 months of each. Precipitation is no more than anywhere else. Fall is spectacular. Winter has some cold and some snow. Nothing crazy. Spring is fantastic. And we’ll, summer. It’s perfect,
Thank you for this video. My daughtet and son in law just sold their home in New York state and are moving south. The last time spoke with my daughter they're looking around Raleigh. I told her to not be afraid of looking back in the hills.
@@Momtocam1997 My daughter and son in law will be looking around. I mentioned there are plenty of fine home developements in the wastern end. I read Blue Ridge and a magazine Smoky zmountain. Of the two I like Smoky Mountain. More folksy and down to earth.

Rout 19 inn
There’s not much green on the trees🤔
Is it because of the elevation ❓
This was recorded several weeks ago.
Try out art. 19 inn beside ghost town.
Sure will next time Angela!

I prefer towns laid out with a town square . What is picturesque about it? Captivating beauty? Hmm..
