We started playing Forest Pines in it's early days when it was literally forest and pines. If you went into the trees there was no easy escape route . We used to call it bang ,bang , bollocks . The exact sounds the ball and player made after ricocheting off the trees.
I'm a 18 handicap, played Carolina National yesterday and shot 3 over par. Best round of my life, hit 3 40+ foot putts. I attribute it too losing 100 lbs and playing 2x a week the last 3 months. A new Ping driver, TM Stealth HD irons and Ping 3 wood also helped. I might have to give it up, I will never repeat that.

Fents started so well back to back pars as well. Think hitting so much different distances with the P wedge when your touch isn’t there is hard. When he was hitting those full shots it came together. More comps lads we need Woody back as well!

I'm honestly jealous of the courses you guys get to play. I am also a new golfer so I have a higher handicap, but I feel like when I watch you guys miss left and right it is always fine and there are no drops because it is always so open haha. My courses are so dang punishing if you don't land fairways... still fun videos though, so no hate!

The 12 is gained from my golf last year, I've played very little golf since September last year in the UK so with how the handicap system works now it hasn't had chance to adjust. I'm very aware I'm a 20+ at the moment, but we are just being honest with what our England Golf shows
Preferred lies only on fairways, out of the bunker should have been a drop. And no preferred lies in the rough. Shouldn’t have been a clean and place on hole two, pickup ball out of bunker, don’t clean the ball and drop. End result could have been the same but those would be proper rules. Like Forest Pines, play it each year when visiting family. Nice video but on thing I don’t understand why you keep saying “gets an extra shot” … it makes no sense… an extra shot would add a shot to his score… he actually gets to take shot off…
I completely agree Mickey, I'm probably close to a 20 handicap at this point. I haven't played enough since September last year to rectify it with how the new handicap system works unfortunately, so we're just being honest with what my EnglandGolf handicap currently shows.
