    It is my dream to own one of these. Superior sound.

    I haven't tried to Blüthner S, the Steingraeber 138 or Bösendorfer 130 but so far it's the most impressive upright I've tried. Better than Seiler, Schimmel and the Kawai 800 or Yamaha SU7

      I do have a new-ish Concert 8, that is still settling in.
      Bluthner B is also very nice, and the Bosendorfer is comfortable. I would say I found that Steingraeber 138 or 130 would be the strongest rival, though. (Grotrian also makes excellent uprights if you like their sound.)

      @@RModillo I've visited a store one day on a business trip who was supposed to sell Grotrian but unfortunetly they were out of stock... So I have had this chance yet. But it's on my list

    That’s a beautiful store. Nothing like that in Vancouver when I bought my Bosendorfer

    What are the main differences in comparison to the Concert 6? That’s the one I could afford, not the Concert 8 unfortunately.

    • @pianovertu
      @pianovertu  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The one and only difference would be the size, and therefore different volume output. The C6 stand at 126cm height compared to 132cm on the C8. That's about it, if space or sound output are factors for you, you would choose accordingly, both are excellent upright pianos of uncompromising quality! Hope this helps.

    Why didn’t they tune it before demonstrating it?

      in the midst of action of a busy day, we were a bit impatient, we will make a recording with the piano tuned and release it as a performance, I will include the link in this comment section when it will be uploaded!

    What is real difference between Concert 8 and C8? Bechstein support told me it’s the same but different name.

    • @pianovertu
      @pianovertu  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@goldenstasgs No difference. Bechstein support is correct, C8 is just an abbreviation for Concert 8🙂

    Is that a Concert 8? I thought they had agraffes all the way?

    • @pianovertu
      @pianovertu  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Javier-jn6cc that is the C8 concert, they do not. Perhaps they chose to not add agraffes in upper register to make it more singing and add some harmonics. It would be interesting to test full agraffes VS V-bar (capo d’astro in grands). I wouldn’t say with certainty one is better than the other without extensive tests. I’m sure the choice was made wisely and backed by research of Bechstein engineers.
      Hope this helps!

      same here. I'm forever captivated by Bösendorfer. I also like Baldwin, so neutral without a signature distinct sound, just perfect and even in every register, similar to Bösendorfer.

      @sylviamdallos2202 Chickering was very innovative, Heinrich Steinweg learnt and implemented a great deal from Chickering design
