Thanks for visiting! 🙂 I agree, Nyíregyháza is an interesting and nice place. Although some areas of Eastern-Hungary are not quite developed (slow trains, poor road quality, less job opportunity), but the administrative city of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county/state is quite a nice place 🙂

If you're in Hungary for a longer period of time, I recommend to stay in Budapest for at least a few days and to visit Esztergom, Vác, Debrecen and/or Szekszárd as well :) Those are only my personal recommendations, other places are hiding awesome experiences as well and it depends on what exactly you are looking for 🙂
