1:27 He has a point. We all point to Chicago’s ongoing mess with gun violence, but truth is in 2022 gun violence is everywhere, everyday in the US. The small community I’m from originally has had a police shooting, school shooting, mall shooting, Walmart shooting, gang violence, domestic violence, suicides, and yet this isn’t unique anymore. it sounds like a lot of other hometowns across America too.

      Go do some statistical checks.
More people killed by hand and foot than by an actual AR.
Also years ago the left changed the definition to four or more shot in any one incident to be called a mass shooting.
So if police shot three bank robbers who shot the bank security guard, that would be four or more.

No. It’s family to them. And if a thug demon will shoot at a cop then they are a higher risk to everyone in public. The demon culture can’t be first in line for every benefit or subsidy. Stop killing and shooting so often and the police may have time to solve that Demon #1 shot Demon #3 before running home to baby mama. Just stop shooting, car jackings, robbing, and assaulting. That's a load of crap, regarding the ease of firearms purchases. For one thing, you can't buy a gun at a grocery store or at a bakery. Here are some caveats for gun purchases:
      1. You must be at least 21 years old to buy a handgun and handgun ammunition and at least 18 to buy a rifle or shotgun and the ammunition for each. Anyone of any age can buy an apple pie, as long as they have the money.
      2. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you are an ex-felon. Ex-felons can buy apple pies.
      3. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you have been adjudicated as mentally defective by a court of law. Last I checked, crazy people can buy apple pies.
      4. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you are the subject of a restraining order for domestic violence, or if you have been convicted of the misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. Wife beaters can still buy apple pies.
      5. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you have renounced your citizenship. Traitors can still buy apple pies.
      6. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you are under indictment for a felony crime. People awaiting trial can buy apple pies, if they are out on bail, that is.
      7. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you are addicted to any controlled substances. Stoners can buy apple pies when they get the munchies.
      8. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm if you are a fugitive from justice. Bonnie and Clyde were able to buy apple pies even while they were running from the cops. I'm pretty sure that still holds true for modern fugitives today.
      9. You cannot lawfully buy a firearm for a person who is ineligible to buy one for himself after he has given you the money to do so. This is called a straw purchase and it is a federal crime. Someone else can give you money to buy an apple pie for him, if he can't go to the store or bakery himself, and it's perfectly legal.
      10. You must pass a background check to buy a firearm in every state of the United States. You don't need one to buy an apple pie.
      11. You must have a valid I.D. or driver licenses to lawfully buy a firearm. You don't even have to show I.D. to go into the bakery when you buy an apple pie.
      12. How many apple pie free zones are there in the U.S. today?

@@meatpopsicle1567 In any country with over 300 million guns, don't think everyone will be following all the 'rules'. The whole land is awash with guns and ammo. The only industrial country of its size where children and adults die horrid deaths on a daily basis. Congratulations on the Second Amendment, apparently, it's more important than the lives of 300 million people. Listing out all the rules of firearm purchases but not talking a bit about the stagnant wages, the abysmal healthcare situation and the debt producing education system. Addressing guns by making rules won't solve anything, there's lots that needs to be addressed but fighting for Ukrainians and using the right pronouns are more important, I guess.

It’s hard to find this type of thing surprising when there is more or less no accountability when it comes to police officers. I’ve mentioned this before and other threads but the more that police officers are allowed to get away with being above the law, (unjustified killings, civil forfeiture other various abuses of power), then the more people are going to actively target police officers due to the perceived threat they see them as. If the ones that hold power to “detain” (hold in some cases up to 72 hours without arresting) and even murder and get away with it, then to them they are “fighting” on the side of good.
Also gonna point out that I don’t agree with the above viewpoints, it’s just a psychology exercise more or less.

It sounds like it yes, but he shot at the officers first and they had no idea whether or not he still had a firearm on him while he was running away rather than doing what he was told so when they began shooting it’s hard to blame the officers.
