    Use Dark Archon's Mind Control. The mind controlled units are free, and don't take up supplies. It's super OP!

      It'd be great if they didn't charge in and die before they had enough energy. Even if I specifically tell them not to they just attack anyway.

    I find going mass dark archons and stealing the enemy’s big units, collosi, carrier, tempest, archons. You’ll eventually have an army much over 200supply, making it really easy to split off a chunk to go for bonus objectives

    Hmm
    If some random beasts poop solarite, why nobody is breeding them??

      Well, the Tal'Darim aren't known for their cutting edge ideas XD

      Because no one is ever use Solarite anymore. Artanis used to say that Protoss has stopped produce Solarite thousands years since their golden era. Tal’darim separate before Aeon of Strife so they don’t know about it.

    I didn't do the colossus mission up to this point. I'm struggling >

    This mission is easy but it's fun. I did this early on after unlocking the void ray and mass produced them. Had no trouble with the bonus objective on the first try.

    You can just mind control the enemy carriers, colossals and other units with dark archon saves u alot of minerals plus u could even wipe out the enemy base with their own units

    I did this recently on Hard level. I just kept a bunch void rays ready. Those things just carve through groups like butter.
    I used Deploy Fenix and Solar Lance a lot in combination when big crowds massed. I ditched the Orbital Assimilator for Warp Harmonization. I build 3 Stargates. Makes it easy to warp out a good bundle of reinforcements as needed.
    When I had a moment, I'd break the fleet off from Alarak defense and go after one of the enemy bases. I'd use Time Stop to make a quick in and out strike. I found that striking the enemy bases gradually reduced the size of the reinforcement forces they sent.

    I think Wrathwalkers would be really worth using if their charge-up time was cut in half. They can do a lot of damage, and they can do it while moving or against air units, but unfortunately their attacks cancel out often because their targets often die before their attack fully charges, thus resetting the charge. Also, because of the long charge-up (or frontswing/damage point for the more technical people), Colossi appear to actually do more upfront damage, which I think contradicts the reason for getting Wrathwalkers.
    They're good against bases, though.

    wrath walkers are land tempests that can attack while moving and destroys buildings and walk on walls bad/good for different maps

    you lie with such conviction!

  • @vikachbg2508

    you asked someone to tell you about wrathwalkers well you can use them against hybrid or armored units and while they move you continue attacking if they are in range of the enemy

    • @superspies32
      @superspies32 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Annihilator or Void Ray are better in dealing with Hybrids

      @@superspies32 Except they are obliterated by green ranged hybrid, it does area damage to air units.

    i don`t understand. in my mission on hard i got swarmed every 30 secs by 4 carriers, hybrids, tons of melee units, 4 void rays + tempests + tempests on my main base with aerial fighters. after i deal with this massacre, i got 30 secs at best and then another wave and another until i got overrun. this brutal walkthrough seems much easier than on my hard. impossible to beat. i even duplicated what you have done, every move. but i don`t have time to defend from all sides, even with mass recall. everytime after i start building 2nd base, it`s always game over no matter how much army i have. i lose more than i build and vespene gas consumes fast. even WOL last mission on brutal is a piece of cake compared to this ridiculous schizophrenic mission.

      I just made it on "hard" and as I am not playing a lot of SC2 it was a struggle for me... but thats what the game is going to be fun :)
      Think the guide is okay but I made the mission before I saw the guide so i did it my way - in opposite to the guide without Collossus and Dragoons (Stalkers instead). I can recommend to bring the
      - Dark Templar early on in the game (resurrection and a smart ralleypoint of the Dark Shrine helped me) /
      - try to get a potent Voidray hitsquad for the homefront north entrace. Phoneix can help to distract the attacking Tempest to buy time for the slow Voidrays
      - save before moving out for the bonus objectives and first of all:
      - focus on destroying enemy bases. I more like to have stalkers because the teleport is super usefull when entering a base. So they dont have to stuck behind Immortals. The AI seems to cheat (due to the incredible production) + spawn from time to time (somewhere on the map). And from 10 to 15 minutes in the game the enemy bases are producing tons of units. You could go out and scout the hole map to figuere out exactly where some enemy structures and bases are located which pylon powers the structures. Reload and head to that points early on.
      Plus: I think 2nd base early in the game is super helpful to bring out masses of units. (in my case: Stalkers / Zealots / DarkT / Voidrays / Immortals)

    HEY the tal darim Colossus are beter then you think. They can Attack while Moving they do 100 dmg at the start 130 vs buildings they Attack air and ground and are really handy at for ex sieging shadow portals in later mission. Send zealot and other units as meatshield and use does siege colossus against buildings. At least thats what i did with them.

  • @jackryan6813

    could you try runs like aiur units only or purifier only pls with exceptions if you can't get that unit like tal'dalreem you wont have zealots so use any zealot you want

    I couldn't even beat the mission on normal, they always somehow overwhelmed my forces at the objective or distracted them by attacking my base, there was literally nothing I could do

    This isn't really a guide since by completing this mission, you unlock reconstruction....but you use it in this mission (pretty key ability for your victory it seems)... just saying

    • @JayborinoPlays
      @JayborinoPlays  8 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Incorrect, I went to Slayn after Endion and had Reconstruction Beam completely legit.

    • @Go-ah-oold
      @Go-ah-oold 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is completley legit, but, even if, reconstruction beam is for sure not key, you can quite easily beat this mission without it.
