That part about Peter, and coming to see who we truly are, was so impactful...to the point of tears. Life has been so rocky in the last few yrs, and I've felt hopeless at times. But hearing that cut into me that, before the struggle I had been so prideful, and going through all the junk, well, it's God causing me to see who I really am. Fearful a lot, sad to say. But, how thankful I am that now I can come to God and be healed, made new, ready to be used by Him. God is so so good!

We all understand scripture is God breathed and the writers wrote down what He had them write so when you say Mark omitted the ear being cut off did he really omit it or was that just how God inspired him to write it?
